Let's be honest. It's exactly what Washington would do. Just look at the pressure that Washington has put on countries not to look into American war crimes in the Middle East, or crimes committed by servicemen in Japan or Korea.

This isn't a conspiracy, it's one country trying to maintain it's international image. It's business as usual in international politics.

Yeah but when the American government does it, it's ok, but when a country that is not one of their allies, then it's wrong.

Governments have a unique way of brainwashing people to think the same.

A vicious cycle thst means we are always on a brink of conflicts all the time. But people are brainwashed to think this ok. This is not ok!

This is incredibly naive thinking.

The Chinese control over 1 trillion dollars in US debt. The Chinese control nearly all rare earth minerals. The Chinese have more wealthy people than the US. The Chinese have a corporate espionage capability that's arguable better than any country in the world.

The PLA is twice the size of all US military assets combined. They also maintain an arsenal of nuclear weapons including about 30 mapped Dongfeng 5 ICBM launch facilities.

Fighting China is a huge mistake that would likely end the world as we know it.

This post is incredibly naive thinking, never have I seen so much FEAR from so much AIR.

The Chinese CANNOT weaponize their Debt against the US, that is false and demostrates how little you know about global economics, that's like dullards trying to predict the collapse of the Dollar, lmfao, won't happen.

China doesn't control all rare earth mineral, another point pushed by low info voters, rare earth minerals aren't RARE at all and the US has its own mines, we simply let China do all the dirty work because it is extremely dirty work, why pollute our lands? Plus, the Chinese tried that years ago and it didn't work.

The Chinese have more wealthier people? Is that some sort of valid metric? You don't have any clue about this other than simply adding it to your false list of fears?

Corporate espionage? We already know, hence the Trumps Trade war that was obliterating Chinas standing, they were losing a simple Trade War and you bust out a fake list of other non proven existential fears?

The PLA twice the size of the US? North Korea has the worlds largest standing Army, and? The US entire Naval force is the most power force on this planet, the PLA has nothing to combat it and in fact, every scenario suggest the Chinese would face extreme destruction.

The US maintains US facilities long before China had any nuclear weapons and currently logistics are unknown, as it should be, DUH.

You have ZERO idea what you're talking about and basically posted what every shmuck percieves on the surface yet never really do any kind of hard research.

Jay, he has not displayed any kinda of sense, and neither have you.

You're ideologically naive and that school girl persepctive doesn't work in reality, the cold cruel hard world. China doesn't care about you or your family.

Firstly China has the biggest standing army from a long shot, so you got that wrong for a start.

Its hard to debate with patriot fanatics, but I have to ask. You really think your government care about and and your family? Do you think they care if you live or die? Of course they do not!

It's naive to think that human beings should just let these sociopaths do what they do! Yes, we know that most of the population are conditioned and brainwashed to be patriotic for their country, but now we are seeing people, in this day and age, look at their leaders as mini Gods!

It's worrying indeed!

LOL

SO what... its great if we decided to invade then the army would matter since at this time Australia has better force projection capabilities than China, Heck Russia can project their force better than China and they can barely get beyond about 200 miles from their borders.

Their Navy while growing is completely untrained and untested in deep water work, and they have had multiple fires sitting in dock.

Their Air force is the bet of the bunch by far, because they abandoned the soviet doctrine and started working in western freedom in decision making back in the early 2000's but they are limited by where the bases are so they are irrelevant unless invaded.

Lastly NOBODY is planning on invading china so that big army and almost modern air force dont matter, the only cards they can play are stealing reefs from countries weaker than they are and economic warfare that's it.

Yeah. There we have it, the great threat China in a not so imperialist nutshell. Keep the warmongering coming, guys! Who doesn't enjoy a more goofy cartoonish show at times?

They have already threatened the US. They were threatening to withhold meds.

CCP can bend over and kiss their asses good bye when things sort itself out they are done for.

This should be a wake up call to both sides of the aisle.

Critical supplies that we depend on from medicial to intergrated circuites, and other defense industry related products should be made in America.

Austraila, and Europe should follow suit.

It should have never been allowed to begin with, but at least we can fix a glaring logistical problem.

What would that look like if it were to be a shooting war with Australia? Could they really defend themselves with China so close?

Instead of mockery, how about pointing out where that post was wrong??

Force projection in war, and preventing one, is a thing. Rather an important thing, at that.

One of the reasons, not the only one mind you, but one of them, China hasn't caused more of an issue with their neighbors is that those nations, or many of them, have an ally that can, and mostly will, project force if necessary.

Will it become necessary? God forbid. I've no interest in seeing another shooting conflict with China. The last one was bad enough...the next one would be worse.

It's not wrong, it's dang on the money! And it goes a long way to illustrate the cartoonish element at play here.

We already skipped the part where actual evidence had to put forth in order to justify any anal probing whatsoever. So people are being led astray on the flimsy base of rumors and myths again? Sweet! And what's worse, I didn't see anyone ask why our own gubbermints didn't prepare for a pandemic like this regardless of all the expertise we paid solid tax-money for.

People like me simply wont be sitting here watching the mockery write itself if we had a tiny weeny bit more self-reflection going on in the first place.

The closest to war people on this thread have been, is most prob playing call of duty on their computer. Have they seen what happens in war? The millions of innocent men, women and children dead and scattered all over the floor?

The problem with people shouting war and invasion, they have never seen any sort of conflict and tend to be people who cannot look at another country as a country filled with innocent individual people. If they did, then war and conflict would be the last thing they would be talking about.

It's such a shame that most people are completly brainwashed. That is what causes wars, conflicts and invasions.

Sure, we don’t want a war with China but China has to be confronted on some level they are starting to fill the NAZI, Stalin position: interning their own citizens for religious beliefs, stealing Tibet (which wasn’t dealt with), threatening all kinds of nations and stealing their water rights, and is an outright surveillance state( though here the US might envy them) and then, whether deliberate or not, this coronavirus-- a total assault on humanity.

And arrogantly daring to threaten Australia with economic sanctions if they merely investigate China’s actions. As if this isn’t justified.

A war with China is out of the question, of course, but there are alternatives.

But where do you stop? The problem here, and it's been a problem for a long time, is people tend to ignore their own government horrors, while pointing their finger at another country on the bad things they have done.

Yes, the China government has done terrible things, mostly within their own country. Other countries tend to do these horrible things, but outside their own country. It's all finger pointing on who is the most evil, when people should be actually thinking "Why should we take this"

Only a small percentage of the population (government) decide if we live or die, if we go to war (justified on not) how we should feel, think, and what we can do or not do to higher our conciousness.

We are all slaves to these sociopaths!
