Corona Virus Updates Part 5

First, I am so grateful for ATS, all the info about this pandemic. Long time lurker but recently I felt the need to participate in the update threads. Following since thread 1.

I am glad that I began prepping in january, so now the only thing I have to do is keep safe. Thanks to you all.

I remember a few weeks ago people laughed at me, now I seem them go crazy on TP. Anyways my update.

Netherlands sunday 15/03/2020:

Confirmed cases 1135 (new 176). But they changed their testing policy recently, only severe cases will be tested. That's all. I came to this.

Severe cases = ICU (tested)
Mild cases = suffer at home (none tested)
No case = maybe they do carry the virus and are spreading like crazy (who knows, none tested obviously, pure speculation)

20 people died (age group 59 -94).

The government was supposed to have a big meeting this sunday, yes on a sunday with specialists and what not. Still debating I guess because it's pretty silent. Will update on that.

I feel that my government have to take extreme measures to contain this thing. Not a please stay home thing, but complete lockdown. No travel, schools closed, need food call this number. If sick call this number. If dead call this number.

Looking at the everyday rise of the figures I fear a second Italy for the Netherlands.

I've been saying for some time now that I believe that the underlying health problems are a much bigger factor than simple age.

Woke up this morning with a real feeling of doom. Just can't seem to shake it. I think it is just the reality of things setting in. This is our new life. Things are changing at such a rapid pace.

Then I have relatives that still go about with fingers in ears, and blinders on. Even though I have told them to prepare here for over a month.

My aunt, who is 90 but very mobile, is going to church today. She says they don't have 500 people so it is fine. ???

Brother in law is taking is family to Kentucky this week to see the Ark Encounter. Says if they take vitamins they will be fine.

Cousin has just been joking about it, until they closed schools yesterday. Now he is almost in panic mode.

Mother in law that got mad at my wife on the phone, when my wife was asking if they had gotten prepared. Telling her she was tired of hearing about it and basically hung up.

Ugg... Just feel so down...

I can't view the video but I do remember the people of Hong Kong were protesting before this virus outbreak and they used to use umbrellas for shielding themselves and also it was some kind of togetherness when everyone put the umbrellas up in the march. Maybe the video is from before December?

As listed on worldometers.info regarding corona cases and other related statistics:

vietnam: 53 cases, no fatalities, no one serious/critical, total cases/1 million pop: 0.5 (an indicator how widespread it is amongst the population). Something seems to be working there (or they hardly test). In comparison, Italy has 349.9 cases per 1 million pop and is at the top of the list if sorted by "Tot Cases/1M pop"; Vietnam is somewhere near the bottem. For comparison Germany has 64.8 in that tab, UK has 16.8 and the USA has 9.3 slightly less than Australia at 11.8:

Actually, I've only seen one or maybe two people on here say anything like that, and that was only a few times.

A clever cocktail of components derived from other known viruses, be they Sars/Mers/HIV/Syph etc.
And to be honest, now appears to be in play right before your very eyes.
If you were to create a wish list for such a tool that is just the job for a depopulation and stemming population growth virus tool, this virus is what it would look like. And we do not yet know the extend of this tools full effects.

This virus tool has been designed for effect whilst attempting to appear natural.

But you know the big giveaways are (pointers to the truth) the fact it was launched in Wufan were there is the L4 BW lab, there were BW war games in Wufan in Oct 19 (if true) and because China has deliberately given low numbers to the world so borders were not shut quickly, which if they had done in Jan, borders would have been shut down in january and no ins or outs of China would have been allowed. And we would not have the pandemic we have which was the intention in the first place.

This virus tool is performing the way it is because its based on a specification for subtle maximum effect to mostly eliminate the old and weak etc whilst ensuring the young are generally not impacted who are the planned and required survivors of depopulation. The tool may also be ensuring that longevity becomes rare because of the lasting effects of the virus!

Things that are natural are amazing and beautiful but don't often evolve to discriminate in such a clever and almost invisible precise way.

Seven ski resorts in the Lake Tahoe area have been closed.
Also all downhill skiing in Colorado are closed.

This is serious. This is spring break and there are thousands who take the week to go skiing with their families.
All of the seasonal workers are now without employment.
I really hope there is set up a safety net for them.

The thing is that Trudeau DONT want to restrict travel. He is an open border type of guy. Province PM want the Federal governement to act on borers to prevent COVID entry..

My friend has just contacted me and said that the major ski resorts are closed in the Lake Tahoe area.

But it is't the end of the world, and the rest of the world does not have to follow Italy's example.

It really does give some ( those who haven't paid much attention) a false sense of security to say a number like below 500 or 250 is ok to go out and be around. That equates to crowds of 158 or 322 are SAFE. The governing body of my city, county, state told me so so it must be true. Discouraging.
