Ohio has begun handing out their essential travel permits. My brother was photographed for his yesterday and several friends filled out the paperwork for theirs. Many of us are expecting the announcement to come tomorrow that Ohio will be ordered to shelter in place.

I feel stupid asking this, but... who gets an essential travel permit? I thought they considered food and pharmacy trips as essential, so that would be everyone, but obviously it isn't. Is it only for people like first responders, los medicos, or what?

From your first post about this, I seez this quote :

Now, I take that to mean that it may have interference with Coronavirus and MetaPneumovirus, but had significant benefits with respect to most flu viruses, parainfluenza, RSV, and non-flu virus co-infections.
That sounds pretty good.

So, it may have a downside for Corona and Metapneumovirus, but the positives outweigh the negatives, maybe ?

Anyone who does get vaccinated now though, should completely isolate for a few days, because you tend to be a bit iffy a few days after, as your body gets to terms with the vaccine.

I will endeavour to take excerpts of these posts with links for posterity here.
It feels like some sort of 1984 scenario where evidence keeps getting wiped.
Hard not to be a little freaked out by this weekend and the sheer numbers seen out in pictures online.

This is sad, what heroes! Lets hope they make it! We are really in trouble if we lose too many on the front line. Hope all those who lose their lives will be remembered for eternity and their families properly taken care of!

I'm so worried that a huge percentage of doctors will die from his - any all frontline medics.
Why are they not kitted out yet with PPE! WHY WHY WHY!?
What is the delay?! There is no excuse anymore, they had so much time to do this.
3M need to work 24/7, we need a war style drive to produce it.
If our medics die, we are all doomed.

don't forget the r/CovidMapping site supported by the reddit community. It does look like they have gotten behind in a few places though. Looks like they are asking for more editors, but it was one of the most up to date maps.

Spain and Germany's numbers are in, does anyone know if they are final numbers or numbers for the day so far? As I thought the US numbers were only part up to date, but seems like the numbers are down on yesterday..

I think the required supplies are now be delivered to where they are needed. I would imagine it will be sorted shortly if not already.

German numbers are about now starting to be reported/posted (it is now 14:00), they usually continue until about 21:00. However, since it is weekend, some towns won't report until tomorrow, so expect numbers to be relatively lower on saturday and sunday.

European final numbers usually show up around noon or 1pm EST
