This is how it will play out: Trump easily is impeached in the House and Sent to Senate for Jury trial overseen by Pence and John Roberts.

Watch for McConnell calling for a blind vote. If granted...it means Trump is screwed. It will mean tha MM and the rest of the establishment are gonna vote with him. This means President Pence.

If Trump is smart enough to see this coming, he will fire Pence and force the Senate to approve a VP. Who? Ivanka? DT Jr? REP from Ohio? Gotta be someone trustworthy to DJT. Thing is..if the Senate refuses to approve a VP, Trump will know of the coming betrayal, at least. More, if they dont approve a VP Pelosi becomes President, which the GOP Senate would never do, I think.

A real civil war involves current and ex-military, you would need Generals and Admirals commanding armies and navies and air power on both sides. So let's say Trump is impeached by the senate, but instead of going he calls on the military to intervene and a couple divisions with there Generals respond. Now the rest of the military would have a choice support these 2 divisions or kill their own. Personally I think it would start a domino effect that might leave a few battalions with anti-Trumpers officers. It would be over really fast either way, with very few deaths. It could result in liberal states wanting to break away like California, which might declare it's Independence. In that case would it's national guard and militia be able to fight off the federal army, unlikely.

Navy and Coast Guard would seize all GOM or any offshore oil fields. It's just nasty even before the shooting would start.

I think the military is aware that trump is a draft dodger and only pretends to like the military. He had 2 great military advisers and threw them under the bus.
