I think if you look at history -- such as the history of ancient Greece, or Paris in the late 1800s -- gender flexibility, racial tolerance and individual freedom generally increase when the economy is good. If the economy tanks and / or an authoritarian government takes over, your fellow citizens and government will basically label it as "decadent" and beat that nonsense right down.

We like to think that our morality is stable and true, a matter of fundamental rights and wrongs, but it's all just a matter of money and wealth or the lack thereof.

Show me even one fully documented case of a person, born fully a man (not a hermaphrodite), that has ever changed sex to a fully functioning woman complete with ovaries, a uterus, and gave birth to a normal healthy child, and I'll reconsider my opinion on the trans thing. Biology doesn't care about human morality or adapts. And there is no reason humans will not evolve beyond sex organs entirely. Which of coarse is a huge mistake most likely.

As far as the point you seem to be missing...evolution doesn't have a set system.

It umm evolves to the environment and its various pressure. What does that mean when the environment and choice of Gene flow evolves to a synthetic enviornment?

Because I'm quite sure that these examples of yours had to do with changing the genes still in the fetal developmental stage of growth.

If they actually were able to do this in full grown adult mice, that would be something... jaw dropping, in fact.

I think you'll find that it was SPANISH scientists allegedly creating this in China - AND it wasn't even born!
