If any bail is granted the Judge is one of the sick. When the last trial he had was going on rumor had it while he was out on bail he was still partaking of his degenerate behaviors.

Since this should come out, bail should never be granted, as not only is he a flight risk, but a repeat offender risk.

Former SDNY Prosecutor (and now conservative commentator) ANDREW McCARTHY was on Rush Limbaugh today explaining why he thinks the judge will grant Epstein's bail request. And why there is a good chance the SDNY case will be thrown out, unless there are NEW TYPES of crimes Epstein will be charged with. (Something to do with "double jeopardy")

This McCarthy article from 3 days ago, is why Rush Limbaugh asked him to come on the air today.

double jeopardy only applies to being tried for the same instance of the same crime. This isn't just the same crime, but a multitude of crimes that were not tried beforehand, under a different jurisdiction. Then the context of being previously tried for a similar crime needs to be taken into account. This is important as a person being brought up on new charges of the same exact type of crime means repeat offenses are an issue, and bail is and should be denied on this basis alone.

The reading of the non-pros is misguided imo. The reason it is stated the way it is (in the article) is due to an open ended nature. This open ended nature is due to the unknown nature of how far reaching and how many possible offenses are to be held against Epstein.

You apparently have a law education or experience. I have none.

But Andrew McCarthy is familiar with the Epstein Plea Deal set up between Epstein's attorneys and Fed Prosecutor Alex Acosta. He says the 53 page deal contains lots of legal safe-guards.

I'm still perplexed over how upset everyone got over this plea deal, 9 years after it was made. The reaction reminds me of how moths fly to whatever light source is the brightest, at any given moment.
