How is this for a scenario? Somewhere along the way some elements of the military and scientific community grudgingly accepted that some breakthrough inventions and scientific theories seemingly popped into people's heads out of nowhere as if in a download of information. There was no real pattern to these breakthroughs. Some of the subjects had been dabbling in the occult, some had childhood trauma, others had odd UFO sightings or close encounters, still others were serious about meditation or using '___' or hallucinogens to induce altered states.

Since these download events could not be replicated in a lab setting, nor explained in any way rationally, secrecy became paramount. No one wanted to explain to an incoming president or five star general, say, that this new groundbreaking concept was delivered to a scientist by a seven foot cartoon Tweety Bird at 4 AM while taking a shower. The weirdness had to be buried deep but the inventions were all too real.

Some scientists became obsessed with determining who were these people who had this ability to connect with this other plane of information and what did they have in common?

They may have crossed some ethical lines trying to artificially induce these download states through forced trauma, radiation exposure, gene editing, involuntary drug dosing, fake alien sightings and abductions, occult rituals etc. but the Trickster behind all of it was always one frustrating step ahead.

By the way, the Sekret Machines novels seem to heavily concentrate on the gene modification angle of human testing rather than, say, radiation or hallucinogens. In this excerpt a government-connected scientist (Vespasian) is being questioned about work he has secretly performed on two military men since they were children:

Timika hadn’t understood much of what Vespasian—badgered and weary—had confessed about the artificial modification of codons and amino acids in the human genetic code. The doctor had tossed the terms out scornfully, knowing they wouldn’t mean much to the layman, all that stuff about CRISPR—Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats—and Cas9. That had been intended to obscure rather than explain.

But Barry had worried at him like a dog with a chew toy until Vespasian had used less opaque but rather more troubling terms like targeted genome editing. Some of what you propose, you could link in with Nolan's work on "intuition" and all that.

Alot of people claim to have had ideas pop in their head seemingly from nowhere.

I've commented a few times on the drive for synthetic biology with programs within DARPA. Ita not a million miles away to hypothesize that they would want to "create experiencers".

Examine the "control system", replicate it, control it, weaponise it and deploy?

The non woo side of team that just want the $ are probably realizing they played their cards too soon coming out without Podesta ending up in power, they now have to go out cap in hand. They wanted to make money outside the govt wage but instead have to cross their fingers that their Putin/The Trickster fear campaign pushes the right congressional IRAD budget buttons. They must know they wont ever get back in after this # show.

I wonder what position was envisioned for John in the Hillary administration. WH chief of staff at least, but probably something even more heavy, like Sec. of State. One day you're (TTSA that is) thinking you got one of your people at the pinnacle of government and a sympathetic POTUS - if you can call HRC that - and the next day orange man is running things. Election day must have been interesting in the TDL, Elizondo households.

I still don't understand how TTSA have "brought the UFO topic into the mainstream" or "changed he way the military approaches UFOs" or done pretty much anything when articles like this ran in the New York Times 59 years ago.

It first stemmed from ignorance and then became TTSA have done more to make the subject mainstream "in years" once it became apparent there were UFO cases before 2017. Like the ones featured in the TV show for example! I hate to say the name but probably Greer did more in the 21st century. It seemed that he had honest intentions at first and then deteriorated into a scam artist. Although he's still around all the Young Guns probably didn't even watch "Unacknowledged".

As for this last episode there were a few laughter moments. Zondo proudly displaying his acquisition of UFO Files Italia to Tom and a specfic page showing what appears to be categorization of different types of craft.



The pic actually comes from a computer arts site where you can purchase the computer modelling artwork of these UFO types.

They got very excited about this. It was like Zondo spent all his time at AATIP thinking about a future in shipping or something and didn't do any investigation into UFOs whatever!

Then there was Harry Reid when questioned by Mellon claiming we had the technology to see what is going on in space and the data is being stored somewhere. As soon as Bigelow's belief was mentioned Reid got all coy and worried about his congressional standing!

The Italian dude who took the bug behind the helicopter photo, is an arsonist arrested with his dad 4 or 5 years ago for setting the "magnetic UFO-eternal Demonic" Caronia fires.

This is from 1998. It’s very interesting in how he lays out the disclosure process/timing. Seems familiar.

I think the Italians were scammed! He is supposed to be the one who led a US ufo research program and he had nothing to give them. I think he said he was still obligated to his secrecy oath, therefore, couldn’t reciprocate their gift to him.

It appears obvious zondo doesn't know much about ufology.

The UFO Case where the helicopter was attached appears to be lost in a part of the much wider Canneto di Caronia Mystery covered here on ATS many years ago and details various strange happenings first reported by Antonino Pezzino. From domestic appliances switching on by themselves and even bursting into flames, to odd animal deaths on land and in the sea, to UFO sightings. Attracting global interest and some declaring the devil himself was casting his presence in this small area of Sicily. Another theory that sprouted was one of the US/NATO testing EM weapons.

The mystery fires continued for a decade on and off. After little in the way of definitive conclusion previously a new investigation was set up. As soon as more fires broke out in July 2014 local police began to install hidden cameras in Canneto. It seems like the cause of all the fires was actually one Antonino Pezzi and his son Giuseppe in a bizzare attempt to make the world believe there was a strange phenomenon occurring in the area.

Many of the locals still refuse to believe it was all the work of the Pezzinos.

There is a very interesting (but lengthy) article on the whole affair. Which details this case. Even the author of the piece admits...

I suspect that a game of Sicilian Poker went down. The Italians were no fools Will.

Zondo, with his constipated poker face, claimed he would not discuss anything classified as he can't violate his currently held security clearances. Which he still believe he has whilst telling everyone he no longer works for the US government. Did he just yank so hard on our legs that he believes no one will notice that comment?

The Italians sure noted that.

So they fed him a story that would probably make a farmer's vegetables grow if you spread it further. Told him how you can shoot down UFOs with depleted uranium when they run out of cloaking power and gave him a pdf of any old crap collected together down the years. Including a chart of computer modelled UFO types from Computer Art website. He got really excited about it.

No wonder History Channel in Europe is not showing this series...It even looked like Zondo was auditioning for Ice Road Truckers in that piece at the end where it started to snow.....
