It's fixed.
No need for more debate.
You lost.
You're not getting your wish to ignore the People's Vote of 2016.
Get over it.

How do we fix it?
By decimating the people who caused the mess -labour, liberals and those that ran propaganda for them.
I would say job done.

Decimating means killing one in ten. Please do not use the word incorrectly.

Love that you felt the need for that.
According to the Oxford dictionary it also means
"to severely damage something or make something weaker"
Hows that 2nd referendum coming along?

I feel the need to correct people who do not understand certain very basic words and phrases. You should now know better next time you use the word 'decimate'. The key is in the word itself.

...and the meaning is in the Oxford Dictionary.
www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com...
The orginal meaning is actually related to taxes.

You just chose to attach the meaning you wanted, when in fact there is more than one meaning to the word.
You've had a bad night tonight - perhaps go to bed and sleep it off.

Decimate is Latin in origin. Did you really not know that? It means to kill one in ten. It seems that you need some education in basic vocabulary.

I'll go with the Oxford Dictionary (link above) - not wikipedia, thanks.

late Middle English: from Latin decimat- ‘taken as a tenth’, from the verb decimare, from decimus ‘tenth’. In Middle English the term decimation denoted the levying of a tithe, and later the tax imposed by the English statesman Cromwell on the Royalists (1655).

Keep trying, or take my advice and go to bed.

It was you who interjected about the meaning of a word, unwisely making an error in your call out.
The Oxford Dictionary makes you wrong.

Given that you are commenting on the 'Brexit mess' thread - I am still curious why you still want to engage.
It's over, unless you have some hope on new 2nd referendum plans.
If so, do tell.
I know it's hard to accept your loss, but you have to know your arguments on Brexit have been defeated, just like the dictionary defeats your latest unrelated to the thread argument.

Aye very good , telling someone to get over it whilst gloating at the same time

is this primary school ?

there is nothing to get over , its just a hurdle on our path to glory

the tories dont need to give us permission
we can leave the Union without it

the conservatives have no mandate to block our own self determination
many nations have went to the UN to grant this.

The UK would risk losing face in the global community

You make it sound as if England is forcing Scotland into this Union.

First of all; Scotland approached England as asked for Union.....that is an undeniable historic FACT.
Secondly; in 2014 Scotland held a democratic referendum and voted to Remain in the UK....that is an undeniable FACT.
Thirdly; Scotland has many devolved powers and has its own democratically elected assembly which passes laws on many, many issues.....that is an undeniable FACT.

The point is; Scotland is not some sort of subjugated land under the tyrannical hold of the bastard English.
Far, far from it.
You do both Scotland and it's great people a serious disservice by trying to portray them in such a manner.

I don't make it sound like anything

I'm saying we entered willingly and we can leave the same

if Westminster tries to block it , we will go to the UN like many other nations

no one is saying anything about England , or the English , I'm talking about our #ehole of a government
we want rid of.

Aye we have devolved powers, but its not enough for us , we want independence from the Union
, we want to be determine our own future.

Why cant ye just be happy for us we want to take control of our own democracy in our own nation ?
if anything scotland becoming independent will change England for the better

I'd like to think that if the shoe was on the other foot , those in England would be trying to gain independence from Scotland
and Id be helping them become independent by petitioning the government etc.
I wouldnt complain and say that you were whinging or moaning , id be helping you to realise your democractic ambitions
but instead all we get is the old shut up and get on with it.

How aboot "NAW"

did ye see the increase in google searches" how to move to scotland" after the election results

just saying that the political landscape is going to change drastically , and I hope for the better.

Enjoy the pub mate
