The examples you have shown of where Brexit is not bringing advantage...

1. Turing vrs Erasmus - different opinions. Let's just wait a year to see what happens.
2. UK exports to the EU falling. Covid aside, trade has fallen both ways and this has been in long-term decline anyway. How things will stabilise post Covid is unclear. Why not wait a year to understand what is causing what?
3. The finance sector is full of accounting wizardry, so the £1.3 trillion move of assets to the EU is just that. It's the jobs that count and the status of the City of London as a global finance centre. Few jobs moved to the EU, but what's not reported is that EU jobs also moved to the UK as EU-based finance companies were forced to set up shop in the UK! Karma.

Here's a challenge Soloprotocol.... Have you been negatively impacted by Brexit? Do you know of anyone who has?

The question is will the UK start to ban food imports from the EU which do not meet UKs standards? People whining about Australian beef imports should take their heads out of the bucket and contemplate whether they are happy to eat beef from the Rep of Ireland, or France (for example) which will come from beasts fed on a diet of ground-up chickens and pig parts. I think Australina beef sounds better!

Brexit, The gift that keeps on Giving.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the " Great Eaten" is right next to the butcher's apron either. Subliminal messaging.

Don't know what that has to do with Brexit?

Tesco have previously owned up to incorrectly labelling some of their British grown carrots as being grown in Spain - which is in the EU.

Maybe something similar?

Maybe photoshopped?
No link to the source of the photo etc and the print does look remarkably sharp and bold.

Didn't take long to determine that no food grown in Chernobyl is exported, anywhere.

A rubbish attempt to deceive or a crap attempt at humour?
Both?

Produce is always marked as " The COUNTRY of origin " not a city or town.

Don't tel me you think that is actually real.

The meme is a typical echo-chamber one. It's photoshopped, but believed and endlessly circulated by the gullible and unquestioning. There was another one going around suggesting bananas were British grown. Mostly, it's the packaging that seems to trigger people because it's got a Union flag on it! Sad face.

Still heard of no one who has actually been negatively impacted by Brexit in any meaningful way. In the land of the living the UK is just moving on. Quite alot of positive news coming out of industry. The only negative is the continuing problems with the NI Protocol, but I think that'll get addressed.

To be fair, I think the EU has accepted Brexit and has realised that we still have a lot of shared interests and that trade both ways is absolutely essential for all of us.

Soundbites coming out of Brussels seem to be more conciliatory and there seems to be a bit more give and flexibility in their negotiations.

Nothing should be allowed to compromise the peace in Ireland.

From Scotland's perspective.

Another referendum, dump Westminster, and say bye'bye to the muppets in the House of Lords.

But that's apt to simply open up another can of worms.

Imho Brexit cant be fixed because it was broken by design.

Might see some of the rewards 20-30 years down the line.

But the only thing on the cards for the immediate seems to be more Tory austerity in spades.

For a start just look at the increase in prices and the fact that a load of goods are hard as hell to get into the UK down to a severe lack of lorry drivers willing to make the trip.

And we canny blame it all on COVID 19 forever.

As for the epic fail with the photoshopped picture of the carrots; not one of Solo's better attempts.

It just shows the desperation of some Remainers and the extent they will go to try and discredit Brexit.
Blatant lie.....and not a very good one.

I work for an Italian company and we import our products for our UK customers who are selling all over the world. I just got the 2nd largest bonus I have ever received in my 20yrs with the company. Just my experience and wanted to share.
