I don't normally take pictures of my food, but in the past few months I've done some traveling and eaten at some famous/world class restaurants. I've taken pictures of those meals.

*Northwestern is in Chicago which according to you takes theirs in February.

So out of 956 on it roughly 9 or so have theirs in February. Which only furthers my statement that they typically coincide with Easter.

Yeah, I can understand that I guess.

I'm not an adventurous person when it comes to food, I'd take photos of my food if it looked that good but who wants to see a snap of a steak and gravy pie or a bowl of super noodles?

Nobody, but these are some of my favourite types of food.

I did once take a photo of a club sandwich I ordered in a hotel not because it looked good but for evidence.

For me the real difference is you don't often see people walking the streets reading a book, tripping over things and walking out into traffic.

But on a beach? I'd question the point of actually sitting on a beach at all, doesn't appeal to me. Reading does, though - so if I were on a beach reading is probably something I'd do. Reading and watching the birdies.

I grew up with a lot of opportunity to travel. The best part of my current job, is that I get to travel again. I always travel at minimum out of state for 3 weeks a year, with work it's more like once a month. Then growing up I would travel all over the country, by the time I was 14 I had been in every single state in the US, and by 16 Canada and Mexico too.

It really changes your outlook. Where I live now, most people don't travel at all, and there's a huge difference in the way they view the world vs how I do.

I'm interested in someone coming in a thread spewing a bunch of crap and acting like they live and know what happens locally in an area. Then when someone who actually lives in the area and has been involved in Spring Break in Florida all their lives comes in to set the record straight you say "You're out of the loop" or "don't know what you're talking about". When in fact it is YOU that has no idea what they're talking about...Which you have proven over and over here today.
