The budget requires 60 Senate votes. The Repubs always knew they needed to compromise. The DACA issue would be the compromise. It was settled just over a week ago. Then Trump had his #hole meeting. He reversed his position over 36 hours, because geniuses Kelly and Miller talked to Trump in their usual racist ways "More Norweigens"

And thus here we are. Your guys could've said "Yes, pay the military no matter what" and decided not to. This whole thing wouldn't be a problem if they simply accepted people who came here when they were younger than 18 as kids, they have a clean record, and not part of a gang. They are, what Trump called, "Americans." But that rejection is the only thing making this even a problem.

Seems very straightforward which party is cynically twisting this matter to get everything they want, as usual.

Imo, It could just be an exercise to see the reaction of military personnel to hearing that they aren't going to be paid. Kind of like the Hawaii fake missile warning on January 13th, which may have been done to see how civilians would react to an imminent missile threat. The US has been bankrupt since 1971, when we went off the Gold Standard. From then to now the dollar has lost @ 85% of its value. They can only keep up the hyperinflation of the dollar & the manipulation of markets for so long. Sooner or later the military won't be paid for real. Hopefully, cryptocurrencies will save the day, since they are the closest thing we have to a Gold Standard/free-market right now.

It IS part of the immigration matters bc the CR and budget issues include the supposed wall and border security and DACA has been paired with that all along. As of 10 days ago, Republicans definitely knew it would be addressed, had no problem addressing it, Trump has no problem addressing it, it was supposed to be part of this bill.

They came at 2 years old, no fault of theirs, and since they knew NO OTHER PLACE ON EARTH, they chose not to get themselves deported by going to Immigration prior to DACA, then they DID come.
