Officials stated triage was set up at Tropicana, Hooters is next door so perhaps it was a slip?

Or perhaps both? In abeverage's thread, he mentioned another triage location at Excalibur. It is certainly reasonable -- even expected -- that there would be multiple triage locations given both the numbers of injured, and that they scattered in all directions in the panic and chaos.

Well gosh darn it... that video kept freezing up my puter. I wanted to see the database and the specific entry in context, but I guess not today! Thanks for the description though -- I appreciate it!

Dude running the channel explicitly stated that if anyone were to use his images he and his attorneys would, I'm paraphrasing here, "be so far up their butts.."

Aside from the CEO of MGM dumping up to 80% of his shares leading up to the event he was the one who entered señor Campos into the employee DB. Only his name is listed, no contact info or history. This on top of his previously not being registered in the state of NV as security personnel seems off.. Oh, and the SPFPA that he is a member of has contracts with the DOD/NASA/etc.

That I already knew. Combined with the knowledge that the president of that union was raided by the Feds a few years ago... with absolutely no public resolution that I can find... I find that very... um... dubious.

So we've put it out there. Now what? Do we continue to sit back and watch what's left of our freedom be stripped away or..

I fear that at some point, push will come to shove on a very personal level, and each and every one of us will have to make make a choice: Stand our ground or kneel in obeisance. And the final outcome will depend on how many choose to stand and how many choose to kneel. I want to believe that those of us who choose to stand will vastly outnumber those who kneel and we will prevail.

I really don't see any other way at this point.

There is another way. If I ever become Donald Trump rich I will not run for president but I will spend my time buying up land and developing private communities that are governed by the people who live there. I make it easy so that anyone over the age of 18 can vote to create or change a law and if any proposal has over a certain approval % (say 85%) then it becomes the law. There will be no president and no government. No corruption. Private policemen only and every policeman or policewoman will be voted into their position by the people at a public meeting held at whatever community they live / work in. Hopefully we can start enough communities that we will eventually make a difference.

At this point trying to do anything to better our situation is better than doing nothing besides standing around and pointing our finger.

I don't know if this video was posted yet, but it shows no muzzle flash when the shots are being fired, and people were trying to leave Gate 2B and were herded back into the festival grounds to the back lot. They said they were being fired upon when they got into the back lot. The video clearly shows the people trying to leave. The gate was in a safe area, and they were herded back into the festival grounds. It starts around the 6:00 mark on the video.

I haven't watched the video yet... I'll probably watch in the morning after I reboot and my puter is fresh and raring to go! But I watched another video which seemed to be showing exactly what you described. People were coming out one of the west gates and going north, and a security guard was herding the people -- ordering them! -- to go right back into the next gate. And I recall one guy holding a woman's hand and walking determinedly and purposely, but not running, and when he got to the security guard he bolted the opposite direction... like HELL NO!!!

I wasn't sure I was seeing what I thought I saw, but now that you say that as well, it makes me a little more confident that's exactly what I saw: People being directed right back into the trap.

I was just looking around for any news regarding the shooting... first for multiple shooters, and then anything and everything. I found a few stories about the victims, a few wondering if the Vegas tourist industry will survive, and that's about it. It feels rather creepy and eerie somehow the way the story has just disappeared from the public eye. And while I can't help but wonder if all the focus on the Hollywood pervert is meant to distract us, it still gives me the creeps. It's just not natural... or right.

I've put this in several threads hoping to lay the police chopper footage to rest.
FAA Radar returns from Las Vegas near the Route 91 concert venue.
Seems all the helicopters but one were tourist flights followed by a Las Vegas PD chopper.
This is the one thought to be shooting due to bright flashes when it was in fact, a searchlight.

But a lot of critical thinkers are still questioning every detail until they're satisfied...Right now, the official story is neither logical nor credible, and the long list of witnesses of who claim they saw/heard multiple shooters suggests a larger game is afoot, and somewhere there may be evidence that will unravel this whole fishy, tragic performance.
And maybe somebody on ATS will figure out a more credible scenario...

Well said. There are plenty of us out here waiting for information to be brought forward on which to base a theory. It's really hard to sort the wheat from the chaff sometimes. I really appreciate the guys who did the actual legwork and put forth the effort to research the helicopter angle. By asking fairly simple questions they got a lot of useful information and passed it along to those of us who don't know a lot about the world of helicopters, how to track them, etc.

No matter how hard I try I can't piece together a coherent picture with the official information and am even more confused by the "leaked" information that keeps popping up from you know, "unidentified sources." I'm open to a lot of theories but can't find myself to be convinced of any theory on the basis of "flashes of light" on a video in a city full of lights, many of them flashing.

As a lot of people have pointed out, few cities have more camera coverage than Vegas, even on the streets. So if all those security videos are being reviewed I would suggest that the shooters would have been caught on camera somewhere. There were stationary cameras in the venue, pointed at the stage. But we've not seen any of that footage, or precious little, only shaky cell phones. I have hope that the reviews of that video may produce at least some reasonable explanation of the reports of shooting at the other hotels.

I also know how very many of those videos must have been collected as evidence and how much time it is going to take to look at each one and try to stitch together an honest timeline of events.

If there were reports of gunfire anywhere near Hooters paramedics would NOT stage their vehicles there.

They would choose a staging point away from the incident location and wait for the all clear from law enforcement to go in.

There was a report from a guest evacuating Hooters that police had shot a man, including a pic of what appears to be a body covered by a blanket in the parking lot.

So if the gunman had been shot and was no longer a threat, would LE give the all clear for the ambulances to go in? And presumably after checking and clearing the hotel as well?

Perhaps this above reply is not intended to be so, but something about this reply makes me immediately think this has been written by someone who is paid to attend these forums and write replies that cast doubt on the premise of the OP. When caught out, a flippant comment meant to minimise the impact of the lies told by the media and the official story, is then made.

Cant help but sense the touch of an uncle sam agency here.

Depending on what muzzle devices were on the weapons used, detecting any kind of flash may be difficult.

Check out this video, specifically the devices tested at 5:37, 8:59, and 9:30.

The device at 5:37 is extremely popular among firearm enthusiasts.

Also note two more things.

1. The length of barrel used for the tests in the video is 11.5 inches. The shorter the barrel the bigger the muzzle flash. The murderer most likely used the standard 16 inch barrel to commit the atrocity which in itself would reduce the flash signature compared to the weapon used in the testing.

2. This test was filmed at the muzzle, while the videos of the shooting are from several hundred yards away making it even harder to detect any kind of muzzle flash.

In summary, I don't think the lack of muzzle flash recorded from several hundred yards away, using cellular phones, is any kind of evidence to suggest that the shooting was not done from Mandalay Bay.
