The even more strange thing is that the woman he was a 'companion' and 'roommate' with and the police named was a Marilou Danley, whose husband on her FB pages does not look like the shooter, yet the shooters instagram page names his wife as Marilou??? Two Marilou's?

So, not to go off topic, but.

In the United States, you CAN purchase a fully auto weapon AFTER you go through a lengthy process, pay for a tax stamp, and meet some other criteria, like getting your local county Sherriff to sign off on a form to send into BATFA, where the send info off to the FBI for a background check, etc.

Even still WITH the proper permissions, tax stamp etc there are still some guns the US Civilian cannot purchase.

The Civilian version (M249 SAW semi-auto) starting cost is roughly $14,000.

It seems most of the deaths are from the herd trampling, not gunshot

while getting dressed listening to the local news. didn't hear it all but the anchor said something about the FBI saying this is probably a triggered event. meaning that something happened in the guys life that set him off.

like i said, didn't hear all of what he was talking about or where he got that from.
