I have understood (but it took a long time) that the past has already happened and can not be changed. The future has not happened yet, but the actions we take in the present time creates our future.

Yo!
Drank a few beers with a friend. (Practically in Finland, "a few" means 2-4 but when it comes to beer, it is 8+)
Now just relaaaaaaaaaaaaxing!

Just curious ? Does your doctor know how much you drink ? I have some similiar diagnosis as yours and my doctors tell me to refrain from too much alcohol. Alcohol is a terrible depressant.
Take care of your health Finn ... the best you can ... you have decades to go yet, in your young life 😕

Being curious is fine! My doctors keep changing all the time but i have been honest with them. About drinking, about the things i remember. I look at it this way, if i am seeing a mental health specialist, i will gain most benefit by being truly honest.

I agree... honesty is the best way to go when dealing with health professionals and your health.
Which is why one doctor sternly told me to lay off the booze at some point. Was using it as an escape to not have to deal with those deep feelings and issues. Only problem is that it was often like throwing gasoline unto a fire. It was a tempory solution at best , and not all the time. It had a way of compounding problems at worst, and I still regret my very drunken rants when I was bruised and hurting emotionally.
