Oh that's really cool! Which cat wouldn't enjoy that! And in colours too!

I had a very boring, lazy sunday today and enjoyed it a lot.

I'm actually thinking about calling 2020 over and start making plans for '21.
With the lockdown and winter and all, why not just "meh" and do nothing but a little pampering myself.
... well and finish my reading list.

But next year!
Where does that come from? People making what's it called? A list of things they want to do "gute Vorsätze" in german I forgot....
Is it custom in England too to do molybdomancy?

It's like I have a new cat!

No, I haven't heard of that form of divination before (and I think you mean New Year's resolutions - perhaps?). The results are pretty to look at though. I'm not a -mancy or -spicy person. I read my horoscope, mainly for fun and I ask the I Ching if I can't make a decision on my own and need a little help with figuring things out. I don't try to see the future beyond what my own next step should be. The molybdomancy sounds like it's more on the fun side of things, like a fortune cookie. I don't really have another grown up I can ask for advice on the things I need advice on, so the I Ching helps me ponder my problem. Gives me the sense of a second opinion. I find it works best when I am taking neither I nor it too seriously, however I always ask my question sincerely. It works for me but I don't ask it to do any heavy lifting - know what I mean?

It's how I use Tarot, a different approach to things I ask myself.
But I was sneakily (?that's not a word, right?) trying to gather inspirations for new year's eve.
You dodged that question like a pro!

I think sneakily was a word the last time I checked, either way - I understand but I'm not sure I can offer too much in the way of inspiration, however I do kind of have plans. BIG exciting plans! For Christmas I am receiving not only equipment so that I can learn how to use epoxy resin but I am also getting some metal clay and a gas burner, and if that wasn't enough, a Dremel too! My cup well and truly runneth over. I am soooo excited. So I know exactly what I am doing for the next few months.

Doth it inspire? Surely, a beautiful young woman like yourself, you only have to snap your fingers to signal your availability and the invites come tumbling in.

Oh I've seen some pretty stuff made with that! Also some creepy things like goldfish what a horrible way to die...
But that's really awesome.

I'm not a people person, in fact I can't imagine anything more horrible and boring than getting drunk and having to "party" and smalltalk all night.

It depends on the party, I've been to a few chill gatherings in my time that were worth the effort. I don't mind being on the periphery. I enjoy listening to people talk. Not necessarily what they're saying, just the talking. If I'm painting or something I put the tv on in the background - music is too emotive for me, it engages me differently or motivates me differently, something like that. It's physically distracting which leads to mental distraction I think. I've done a lot of hospitality work, so I can do small talk, beyond that I get stuck in terms of communications, I don't quite have a speech impediment but I get jumbled up and all other forms of mind-to-mouth mishaps. It's why I prefer writing, I can go back and fill in the gaps, I skip joining words a lot but mainly my fingers work quicker than my talking bits do - anyway your average party-goer would wander off rather than wait for a comprehensible rephrasing. Parties can be draining, unless there are little people there and then they're awesome. And there's always cake.

I've been to parties. I'm just more entertaining than everybody else

I'm just over it.
Maybe a phase I don't know.

How's Princess Cat doing?

I had such a weird dream!
I was marching as captive in an ancient army. They looked human but were different, they didn't die, I strangled one for hours and she just laughed at me.
The weirdest part: another captive was a traumatised dragon with a showering cap and green and red sunglasses...

Where and how does my brain find those ideas?

[I]Amazing transformation. She has lost all her princessiness and become fully cat again. She's even lost all interest in her straw, the mice are fully meeting that need for her. I could not be happier.

I'm sure you are more entertaining than the majority of people and that's perhaps why you should give the world more opportunity to be entertained by you. Isn't it still greedy even if it's just yourself you're keeping to yourself?

Hey Everyone.
I've been in depression mode. Not really doing much but working. Now I'm coming back out of it.
So just checking in saying hi. No idea what's being talked about.

How is everyone? Peeps? Kilgore? And KPB too now?

Hey stranger!
We went collectively into hibernation it seems, Kilgore also came back not too long ago, with cat pictures.
Well a cat picture.
TEOT occasionally pops in praises the weirdness and is gone again.
We're all hanging by a thread.
Good to know you're still hanging though!
Hi.

XOXO

It's good to see you too. My wolf hasn't been needed.
I've been so ridiculously kitten hearted..

I have the worst joke. My brain told it to me when I woke up today. He was like.. "is polly still here?"
And I got the joke halfway and was like "nah polygon."
It was a scene like a movie with southern American accents. I burst out laughing. It's so dumb but it's beautiful too.

Oh my goodness. I'm so.. whatever I am, and I love it.

Wow! A maths joke I actually understand. Hehe.

Did anyone see the planetary conjunction with their naked eyes? We have complete cloud cover

I was reading an article about said event and it reminded me of something I read (Claudian's The Magnet) about a temple some place in which he said a statue of Mars (made of iron) and one of Jupiter (made of Loadstone) suspended from the ceiling, and that the two would embrace.

It turns out that the temple was never finished, probably because the architect and engineers quit when told they had to hang a what-now from where-now. Anyway, I wondered whether perhaps it might have been intended to describe a similar celestial meeting between Jupiter and Mars.
