It's worked out ok. A friend managed to contact him: he had no credit on his phone (and I had almost none and no way to boost it on a Friday night). He'd missed a connecting bus and was walking home from the next village (in the rain and dark), so I went out in my car and picked him up. He's ok, just a bit wet, but we gave him a few beers and he's recovering well.

As I stayed up too late watching movings I found the best way to get myself going today was to watch some more YouTube movies such as The Drift and 41. Both were pretty good.

Now I'm worn out from cooking dinner and the cleaning the blasted dishes. I have no idea how much longer I will stay awake tonight.
