Lol. You have a source document? Glad tounfound tour idea again.

Funny story i was sotting on a bench with a friend once and i was lookokg away from him past my shoulder. I rolled mynhead up to the sky for a second and then down to look at him. For the split second i paused my head in its turn to stare at the sky, i had the most brilliant clarity but i lost it immediately.

Or this one time i was at the park i was homeless at with my friends at the time. I specifically remembering having a clarity of mind that would change the entire friggin world. I remember it looked green and kind of ropy. But i didnt have paper and i knew the people there would only disregard it(sure sign that they werent truly my friends) and i lost it.

Betelween your desk and your book i now dub thee, speed racer

Hiya Jess, I am fine thanks!

G'day Timely Dave! I think you already did tell Gordi about the ink. LOL

Hiya little Warrior! It still makes me sad that you were homeless, but you got beyond that so I can smile.

Yup, rolling, raising/lowering desks. They have power strips built into the desks themselves, so you can plug everything in to the desk. To move to a new location, you just need to unplug one power cord and your network cable if you're not on wi-fi. They even have USB charging ports built in. So, it's pretty easy to move people around to get project teams together for collaboration.

Yes, I have quite a few, actually. The major characters and organizations have their own document; I have a document called "Images" which contains stories or fragments of stories that may or may not be used - sparks, if you will; there's a document for the premise and overall plot; and then I have dozens of documents for chapters - these sometimes go obsolete and sometimes they get used elsewhere or incorporated into a main document. The main document, though, is called "Falling" and was started by hand on a tablet of paper during a plane ride on a business trip once. I believe it was Albuquerque.

As I flesh out the rest of the story arcs, I will create an additional document that is essentially going to be the rough draft of the whole novel. "Falling" will get merged with Bryn's arc, Taarvaes's arc, Joen's arc, and Princess Anna's arc. Taarvaes and Princess Anna's are probably the most critical to the overall story, but Bryn's will probably be the most fun to write. Not like any of it has *not* been fun - I have not had this much enjoyment from writing since...well, ever.

Today I'm trying to take is slow and easy as it feels like 103 degrees outside and not that much cooling inside. This has reduced my thinking skills by about 20% as I keep catching myself making mistakes online and in the real world.

Note to self, do not try to heat up coffee in the refrigerator, use microwave sitting next to it.

Who knows, I might take a nap and be back whenever it gets cooler after dark.

Take care and think happy thoughts or else.

You've come to me like winds and snow
lost in life's emotion
And though your dreams now seem shattered
know that you can follow rays of sunlit tomorrows
for they are always there
always waiting for another

past moonbeams and a golden glittered Neverland
to the place sweet destiny lies
All dreams lurk within
waiting for the dawn of fate
to come and claim them

The voice of the wind
ever so gentle all around me
glimpses of answers
that somehow I'll find
peace them together in my weary mind

Echo the truth
and leave all the changes
to take their course and unwind.

Good Morning,
Having had my first coffee.... I just wanted to share this line from a story.
It's from a part of a story that one of our own shed-folks wrote.
I am sharing this here for her, although she doesn't know that I am sharing it here (yet).

I'd like her to read her own words as if they were advice from someone else...

"We all feel like we are lost and alone in the woods, at some time. During this time we feel that we will never be found. But you never were truly alone. You have a soul family....a core group of people who are always with you, but not visible until you take the walk."

Gordi blinked slowly, trying to focus in the hazy half-light of the early morning.
A yawn escaped from his mouth as he stretched out his achey limbs and his thoughts quickly turned to the urgent need for coffee!
He slipped out of bed and stumbled through the doorway and down the hall towards the shed kitchen.

"Hullo? Anybody up yet?" he mumbled softly to the shadows... "I guess not!"

As he approached the stove, he glanced over to the fireplace and noticed that it was cold and empty, and he suddenly realised that the kitchen felt very cold?
The clock on the wall was saying that it was after 9am and the place was usually buzzing with chatter by then, so something felt very.... "off".

"HULLOOO??" he called, much louder this time, but there was no response.

He turned around and walked back up the hallway, gently pushing open each door in turn.... but all the rooms were empty and still.
A terrible feeling of dread began to overwhelm him - SOMETHING was NOT RIGHT!

He burst back into his own room and very quickly dressed... instinctively grabbing his sword as he swept back out of the room. A proper search of the shed revealed that everyone had vanished without a trace and he was indeed alone.

"What on Earth could have happened to everyone? The last thing I remember was.... was.... uhm..."

The big guy suddenly noticed that he had no memory of the night before! or.... anything really. He knew that he belonged in the shed with his shedmates but it was all a bit hazy and vague.
He turned the handle on the big wooden door and stepped outside onto the back porch of the shed, and suddenly his jaw dropped open as he gazed out on...

"No, that's not possible... how could... I mean, we were...."

There spread out before him was "The Land of No Time", with the vast Effin Woods stretching out towards the mountains of Moddar.

He was back where it all began.

But How? and Why?
He stepped out into the field, trying to make sense of it all, and glanced back to see... a small rickety old shack!!! Where the splendid and beautiful rainbow-coloured shed had been!

His heart sank as he thought of his friends and what could have happened to them.... and his mood darkened as he remembered that the dark woods of Effin were full of Ogres and other creatures of the dark... and no one likes Effin Ogres!!
