So what's next...Israel nukeing Iran. This Sh!t just got real....

The world has gone full retard, old friend.
Russia recognized West Jerusalem as capital of Israel.
Trump wants a coalition to take on Syria...lets see...Turkey would love a piece, so would the budding Kurdistan state that wants to break apart from Iraq, but doing so would give rise to Turkish/Kurdish tension that is already a hot mess with bullets being exchanged.

Israel could NEVER nuke Iran. I don't even think they could get away with a repeat of the early '80's bombing of that Nuclear facility in Iraq and not be put in time out or worse.

All eyes on China now.

Divide the US on all fronts, and watch New Rome fall...

How was it not a military operation???

Were these Trumps own personal missiles???

I'm not sure what was illegal or not. Improper I have some opinions though.

Either way I don't know what was accomplished though.

So we didn't kill anyone??? Is that what you're saying???

The Airstrip,Fuel station and some weapon buildings got hit. I guess the number of casualties will not be that high. They didn't hit any major population centres or the military base. This was a surgical strike and not just bomb everything that looks like syrian troops. The goal was to cripple the syrian airforce and nothing more. Stop panicking please.

never said that..just dont believe it was syria

The only other Nation that has fixed wing aircraft that could fly from that airbase is Russia so if you don't believe it was Assad your only other choice is to believe Russia did it.

Russia says America didn't warn Russia about the strike.

twitter.com...

That is flat out wrong.

And I know it for a fact.

I don't give a flying rat's ass if you believe that or not. It's a fact.

What you're all witnessing, is the spin, misinfo and bad reporting that always follows these types of activities. Give it a day or so to calm down and then you'll see.

The thing that makes absolutely zero sense about attacking this air base, is that if the chemicals were delivered from this airbase and they bombed the base, there is a real potential for the weapons stored there to be hit by explosives and disperse in an uncontrolled fashion into the general environment and kill more innocent bystanders.

Makes zero sense, as in stupid, as in...

...Well...

Looks like lies to me...

Makes perfect sense in the art of war.

Forced friendly fire as opposed to civilian murder.

I'm not panicing. I'm asking, first who authorized it and was it legal.

Second if we attacked the correct people responsible.

3rd, What exactly did this accomplish.

4th, was this the best way to handle it?

Do you all realize if Russia responds with any sort of attack to follow this, however unlikely, and war is started, CHINA should be watched over like a hawk!

it was a military operation. It wasn't a war. He has the authority to make this stupid mistake, unfortunately. It isn't illegal, its just really stupid (IMO, anyway).

I think the chemical attack was a CIA op. I don't even think Syria had chemical weapons.

All of this said: We have zero reason to interdict ourselves in Syria.

What about the murdering of citizens with chemical weapons?

So while some countries can kill 10s of thousands.. 100s of thousands.. even millions of their own civilians, and we do nothing.. you are ok with launching dozens of missiles at a country that is allied with Russia because 70 people were killed in an attack?

Priorities.. it would be nice of our new POTUS had them. It's ironic how he called out Obama to not launch an attack at Syria.. more than once.. and yet, it's one of the first thing Trump does while in office. Over 1k were killed while Obama was in office by a chemical attack. Trump called him out against taking action. Now this? Doesn't make a lot of sense.

Right but to properly do that you need to actually stand against the ones who actually did the crime. The idea that Assad did what they claim in his current political state is simply too absurd for words. Is way too much of a "ok ok we get it, we're backing off and concentrating on Isis we hear you all. Oh # look what Assad did, and we were trying so hard to get along too. Well back to the game plan." It's simply too effing convenient.

The whole thing is ridiculous unless Assad is the biggest gambler of all time and is banking that the absurdity of the situation will make it so unbelievable the blow back to responding to it will cause an uprising against his opposition from it's citizens not wanting another war... I mean seriously small chance of that, and not worth the risk when truthfully he had just #ing won.

So how will Assad and Russia React to this Attack ? Just Complain without Escalating it , or Deny that it was Assad's Air Force that Gassed that Village ? The other Option is for Russia to Challenge the U.S. Navy in the Gulf with a Show of Force to Counteract Future U.S. Actions .

1) Probably. If not nobody ever gave much of crap when Obama was doing it.

2) Nope. Rebel weapons depot containing Sarin got bombed. Wrong target entirely

3) Well it weakened Syria's airpower, which is certainly going to help Al-Qaeda, Islamic State etc. in the long run

4) Hell no.
