i agree with you....but then again, i never expected "full disclosure". whomever is expecting that is setting themselves up for disappointment. the monumentous thing for me is, a program addressing the ufo phenomenon on a major news network by a respected news anchor.

This thread is speculation on what will be covered in the special, whether it's a media ploy for ratings, and other such trivia.

From the people at work I told about the special. Most scoffed and laughed the minute I mentioned it was on UFO's. Quite a sad world it is, guess just not many critical thinkers left anymore.

Well, 3 days and counting until we get to watch what ever this 2 hour documentary will be.

I believe that aliens are angels of both good and evil. Based on my belief of the second coming of Christ, I think that the government being evil and all will want us to fear all aliens and when Jesus reall does come everyone will go against them and will have missed his return. Thats just my belief.

Good or bad - as long as a thought process is triggered by watching this 'special', people who are otherwise ignorant to the possibilities of ET life, may actually want to find out more......

I'll be waiting to hear all your comments about it. Its not showing here in OZ.

Disclosure won't be on our terms me thinks.

Was just listening to tonights Jeff Rense show and heard some more information on how ABC conducted the investigation.

While checking out Peter Davenport's call center where he answers ufo reports for www.ufocenter.com... , ABC insisted on getting a genuine call recorded that someone made to the center, saying they would wait multiple days if neccisary to get that information. I just found that interesting, seems they are being serious about this investigation.

Oh please God let UFOs be revealed to us once and for all!

Who is the brainwashed and ignorant?? And why put a religious meaning to possible extraterrestial species of life. It's like the Hindu's worshipping the cows.

One more day...then we'll see I suppose. I'm not expecting much to be honest, but I hope I'm pleasantly surprised. Something tells me I'm going to want to throw my tv into a pool after this though....

The main thing here is that the UFO subject is getting a 2 hour prime time slot on a major network. The exposure alone is worth it to me. And as long as they report the hard cold facts and nothing less, people will be able to judge one way or another for themselves, regardless of whatever is said in the show.

i wouldnt hold my breath guys, its pretty sure that alien disclosure would not come from some newsreporter but from you know where and would be on every station, newspaper...

And dont expect any new info either, they are probably just gonna put all the stuff you already know into a nice digestable show, and they'll top it with a joke or two for a good night laugh.

Oh, does anyone know, what show comes afterwards? I would think its gonna be about WMDs, Iran or north Korea

Yet, if they report with extreme bias and in the end, ridicule the subject, then they've succeeded in pushing UFOlogy back a couple more years, and further into the absurd category. This could be a real double-edged sword... At least they aren't toting out Meier or Adamski as far as I can tell....but if we see Klass at the end of this thing.....

Yes these flights will not be true "space flight" in the sense of cruising to the moon and back, and they are only in "space" for a few minutes. However, they (the tourists) will probably all have cameras with them (how could they not on that trip?), so there will probably be an abundance of private space photography in the relatively near future.

Once people get into a place where such a secret if it exists can no longer be hidden from public view disclosure must be inevitable. No government will allow themselves to be caught in a lie by the general public. Assuming of course there is a lie to be disclosed.

I have read that every space flight has had company of some sort up there, and if for a minute that this is correct then it follows that any private vehicle up there will be "checked out" as well. Especially as this service advances and people are able to go further in space and stay longer. (And where tourists go, hotels soon follow...)

So, just maybe, this special won't go the same way of ones in the past and just rehash the same stories and pictures. I think that being realistic it is wrong to expect any earth-shattering news from it, but if they are finally facing up to an inevitable discovery of the "big secret" it might just be the start of an interesting time of information release.

This is a good point. I wonder if this plane actually makes it past the Earth's atmosphere. I don't think it does, but I digress. I don't think this private space tourist thing is going to last too long. I predict a major disaster with the first load of tourists and that will be the end of it. World governments can't afford to have Joe Blow up there taking pictures of unexplainable things, then coming back and showing the public. Just a thought.
