.................In addition, we in the United States now have some of the worst-educated high school and college students in the industrialized world, especially when it comes to STEM subjects. Our people do not have the intellectual tools with which to comprehend the scope of the Phenomenon since they are so poorly educated in science, math and technology. They don’t have the language or the context necessary to interpret the data. That puts us at a very pronounced disadvantage when it comes to debating scientists, engineers and government agents on the subject of UAP. ...........
.....Part of the problem today rests in the fact that the UFO community is hostile towards the intelligence and military communities........
..... We cannot reiterate this enough: the fiction and the non-fiction elements of the Sekret Machines project work together as two interlocking components. You can read the novels and ignore the non-fiction and you will find a revealing and enjoyable experience. You can read the non-fiction and ignore the fiction, and you will find your preconceptions challenged and new possibilities open up. Read them both together and you will begin to experience the Phenomenon the way we have.......

The three non-fiction books are labelled as such. The three fictional books -- the novels -- are written by A. J. Hartley and are marketed as such.

We are very ambitious, I know. We want to create general enthusiasm for this subject and take it out of the realm of the specialist. We need to make Ufology a credible and acceptable area of research and study. And that means enlisting a lot of different people from different areas.

A typical complaint. However, DeLonge is worth something like $40 Million, Books like this do not sell well. It's chump change to him. Buy the T-shirt and coffee cup, too, if you want--or don't. But to claim he's just in it for the money is a cheap and ignorant shot. He doesn't need the money. He BELIEVES, and he's being used because hes quasi-famous with a certain generation, and it's their turn to get fed this line of crap.
2. He is naive and being played. However I have a harder time believing this one at the moment than this just being about him seeking his goal to become some type of mogul.
