Caveat: I like Levenda and his work, particularly Sinister Forces. I had high hopes for this whole project when it first leaked last year. However, my enthusiasm had completely run out of steam the longer it drags on.

It just seems to me that Levenda is being purposely obtuse, dragging this out to three books and thousands of pages when the simple facts we want to know can probably be summarized in a Tweet. Are UFOs alien ships or inter-dimensional portals or brain-chemical induced hallucinations or what? Instead of getting to the point, he seemingly takes us back to the beginning of history as a pretense to recycle old notebooks from his PhD days.

He claims to be trying to raise interest in science and the scientific method but he is muddling the reality of this phenomenon with superstition, myth and religious parable. I find it hard to believe we have high ranking take-no-# military officials confiding in Tom DeLonge just to tell him that a vague control mechanism is interacting with humanity since its inception in order to slowly advance our collective evolution. If they are telling him this, they must also be collapsing into giggles soon after he walks out of the conference room.

"on one side there is light, on the other, the power of attraction!"
On the question of the meaning of life to a 15 yr old girl who was possessed by many spirits, CJ Jung was asking the questions...... "Psychology and the Occult by Jung"

I must say this thread has made me want to delve into some occult books, i haven't read many tbh, but i have read a few, when i lived at home my mum used to bring in all sorts of books, i remember reading one called "the book of forbidden knowledge".. i think. i remember trying to have an OBE with what i read and feelt as if i nearly done it but got afraid and never tried again, i was about 14. i have read loads of horror books but nothing that is supposed to be real, Apart from that one by Jung..... any suggestions of good cheapish books about stuff that is "real" involving magic and the occult.
Levenda has a few, that look interesting.

I came from spirituality and did NOT find UFOs.
But i did find another form of spirituality ("UFOs").

Since i was little i have experienced the "spiritual", but for the most part "the Trickster" has always left me alone..

Strangely i knew very little about it when i came to ATS.

I've always been protected by a very powerful something...so the "baddies" want nothing to do with me.

I HAVE run into bits of "evil" (generally summoned by theosophy-type cultists) but really very few people are affected by such things...you have to give permission, and usually only attention-seeking people who subconsciously want to be "possessed" will run into problems.

Or if you do tantric inner alchemy without knowing what you are doing.

But otherwise, most of whats out there is a reflection of human hopes and fears, and not good or evil at all.

I just can't support the "war in heaven" philosophy...humans invented that story..and it is a gross mischaracterization and exaggeration.

I understand why the good/evil deception exists, but I'm not interested in being used by having that mindset.

Imho.

Hi privatepilotuk

My argument isn't so much about how much $ Delonge will make but rather who is being targeted to buy these books ( blink fans who know squat about UFO theory) and how they were originally presented as revealing definitive proof of intelligent ET visitation.

Everything I've read on this subject points to this trilogy of non-fiction books being a string of unproven scientific theory and fringe theory packaged into a 3 book deal ( as well as the fiction books, movies, fan gear).

Ultimately I was just disappointed. Who knows maybe they pull it off and actually have a guy who has answers.

Who knows. We'll see.

Great post.

Of course Delonge could be being "Bennewitzed" as has been pointed out numerous times. And that's part of it I personally believe, but in a somewhat different way.

But what's hard for me to get around, is some of the folk and sources--old & new--that seem to be directing/advising this grand & wide-ranging ufological opera are true believers and astral voyagers, etc. There is a persistent esoteric/mysticism/occult cadre that stay associated with the narrative highlights we're hearing so far. Most times these same folk with the esoteric leanings are members of, or have worked for, the intelligence community.

That it's obviously complex makes it worthy of note I think. If the intelligence community is involved ,and that's not much of an if, ahem, then we have to ask why, eh?

I don't think this is about money. HOWEVER: Those familiar with how the IC operates, know that many Operations are run as profitable fronts. So...everything seems to fit pretty snug. If it is an operation: Why do they want us to believe?

There is a certain degree of liminality where this entire subject is concerned, of course.

And, yes, the truth is complex. Well ... perhaps it is better to say that the truth is simple but that our path to understanding it is complex!

Mr Levenda,

I hope you can answer some easy questions if possible. I know the truth is complex but baby steps would go a long way.

Has Tom been shown an Extra terrestrial? Pictures, video, life form?
Are the videos from Ivan0135 on youtube real real with fake fx added for dis info or just plain fake.
Is there any validity to the russian book that depicks many different aliens races.

Thanks for your answers in advance.

Foreword by Jim Semivan's (served 25 years in the CIA):

tothestars.media... gs/news/read-jim-semivans-foreword-for-sekret-machines-chasing-shadows-paperback-edition

UAPs are real. The Phenomenon is real. There is no way to deny or refute all the evidence accumulated over just the last few decades alone. But what is the Phenomenon, exactly? What intruded, uninvited, into my life almost thirty years ago? Well, that is the quest Tom and To The Stars, Inc., are pursuing, pulling together a strong team of scientists, researchers and adventurers willing to venture into the unknowable for answers. We may stumble upon something that we should not have disturbed; then again, we may just fall headlong into a new realm of existence that has been hidden from us and has always been our birthright.

I look forward to getting it and reading it.

Me too. It is near the top of my buy list. I believe what he writes in this book are what he has actually heard from sources in the intelligence community and military, so that gives it tons of credibility (he has actually met with multiple people to do his research). This gives his book a lot more credibility than many other stories, including those that involve "channeling."

Unlike many UFO books where the author could be lying, I find this to be exceptionally unlikely in this case since he is basing his book on what many other people said. The only weakness is that the intelligence community could have been trolling him.

Yes, I agree! While we have to be aware of the possiblity of manipulation, this is still the best hope I have for advancing the subject of UFOlogy. I have already purchased the e-book ($13.99) and am waiting for the notification that the download is ready.

The deep cynicism, I’m sorry to say, is probably justified here.

We've been jerked around too long and too many times not to be cynical about this. Of course, it is always healthy to be skeptical on matters such as this but we’ve reached the age of cynicism because of the past shenanigans of the “insiders”

Delong may be a truth teller, I don’t know, but Levenda is at least to me an honest guy.

All that being said, what in the world is Delong going to add to this miasma?

Probably nothing, though sometimes the very gravity of low expectations brings forth an interesting experience.

He can't spell secret?

i kinda assumed this was a sideways nod to Matt Skiba, who wound up replacing him in Blink 182 and released an album as Matt Skiba and the Sekrets way back in 2012.

in a ten-page thread consisting entirely of "is he disinfo or isn't he" that's about all i can contribute that's solid. Is he disinfo? or isn't he? i guess we'll find out sooner or later. in the meantime it's very interesting to see someone come to prominence in UFOlogy from an angle like this, i can't think of a single other example off the top of my head and i look forward to whatever unfolds from it.

The book has a small section entitled "A Note on Sekret", and this is what it says:

We are using this unusual spelling of secret quite deliberately. For all its street associations it also helps us to distinguish what we mean by secret from the usual interpretations.

Plus, you can't trademark 'Secret'. 'Creative' spellings like "Froot Loops" allows you to get a trademark. Which I'm sure is the Sekret Reeson he's doing this.

Sekret also means secretion in german.

Maybe the disclosure is not about aliens at all?

Finally listened to all four hours of that Coast to Coast with DeLonge and Levenda. I was impressed by how someone could answer questions for that long without really saying anything. DeLonge certainly has a knack for that, which is probably why we will have to read three fiction books and three non-fiction books, watch a multi-part TV documentary series and perhaps a feature film - all over the course of two to five years - before he tells us what the hell is going on.

Edited for clarity.

Hey Levenda..
Yeah Tom..
I met with all this higher ups ppl with the goverment and nasa and I now know some deep # regarding aliens and I am gonna tell every one about it later today..

Or... OOORR... you could milk the crap out of w/e info you have by releasing three fiction books and three non-fiction books, a multi-part TV documentary series and perhaps a feature film for good measure because.. Cha Chin!

Levenda... you are brilliant.

J/k but srsly.. I will wait for anyone here to read and review b4 falling again about buying a book the size of four bibles that tell you nothing in a quadrilion world essay.
