LMFAO

I now see what the problem is and Oh gosh youre gonna feel silly.

Go have a sit down and clear your head for minute, Let the pathological Trump hate dissapate slightly and rewatch your linked video.

OK so 350 R&D jobs are staying
730 Manufacturing jobs are staying
70 management and clerical jobs are staying

550 jobs are going.

This isnt a math issue its you confusing (and dare I say hoping so you could justify your Trump hate) what the guy said, 1150 jobs are staying that did not change.
The union boss's only complaint was that the other 550 will be going.

So to clarify the math from your linked video looks like this

1150 jobs staying in US
550 jobs going to Mexico

I at one stage toyed with the idea you were a pro Hillary shill but now Im thinking you might be a Trump plant here to post and make Trump haters look silly

Your credibility just dropped to zero

Can someone explain something that doesn't make sense to me? The engineering department in a plant is there to to keep the plant running. They handle equipment maintenance and in the case of Nissan do quality control. then there is the administration that handles plant payroll orders parts etc. So my question is what company ships the assembly lines to mexico getting rid of production staff. But then keeps the plant open for the engineers and admin? if production is shut down what do they need the engineers for ? If there is no work force to manage why do they need admin? The only plausible explanation I can think of is they were union workers. And as such the company didn't want to pay the fines involved under the contract. So they were willing to pay people to do nothing until of course next fiscal quarter when they can take the hit on the books. It is the only thing that makes sense. So in other words these jobs were as good as gone the company was just waiting to take the hit. Of course there going to tell the Union that there not going anywhere because the union would of course demand money now. So the only thing that makes sense is the company lied to the union no big surprise there. Or Carrier is the worst run company on the planet to want to keep admin and engineers in a plant that is no longer operating. Kind of like paying teachers to teach in a school with no students.

The guy in the story is lying to save face because he couldn't do his own job. Simple facts and logic, like you have shown, tell most intelligent people that without the workers the other staff wouldn't be there either...trouble is the ones with an agenda to paint Trump in a bad light either are too blond to see this or are ignoring reality.

I just posted a direct quote from your article stating they thanked him for saving 800 jobs.

You denying and lying about it is ridiculous. It is IN the article YOU linked....

Dude its just too sweet

she thought the 550 jobs leaving were from the 800 Trump saved

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The only question now is if she has any personal integrity and will admit her mistake.

Something tells me the answer is no

The 350 in your list were never slated to leave...so not saved.

On top of all that, Carrier's Huntington plant (in the same state) is laying off 600 in order to to hire in Mexico.

Trump first campaigned on the fact he would cause Carrier to keep over 1400 jobs in the US.

For this, they got 7 mil in corporate welfare.

Also, where do you find it is your job to rate the credibility of others here?

Trump has apparently backed off on the 1100 total. Good. I have a problem with the math on that even number, though. Net loss seem to be words many here do not understand.

Ah...so because the company is laying off from a different plant it is Trump's fault. Again...still trying to spin the original lie you told because of the inability to understand what you read and heard.

And you think $7mil is bad? How about a single one of the 34 companies Obama bailed out....Solyndra...$530Million...now bankrupt. Great job current POTUS!

Sorry but in another post in this very thread you disputed the 1100 number and said that 550 jobs from that 1100 would be going.

They arent and you are wrong.

I dont rate credibility you either have it or you dont, when someone cant even understand a vid they link and then when clearly shown they were mistaken they cant admit to it thats when you lose credibility.
Just to clarify again because you seem to be having trouble understanding things today, you dont lack credibility because your opinion is different to mine you lack it because you cant understand simple concepts (like math) and you refuse to admit you were wrong or made a mistake

This threads been fun (when I realised the mistake you made I got a great laugh, I literally LOLd for like a minute) but Im now done

but even though Trump has backed off the 1100 total, you are staying with it??

Yes, please return that mic.

And here is a key quote from that link...

Eyewitness News reached out to Vice President-elect Gov. Mike Pence's team asking specifically for clarification about the number of factory jobs saved in this deal.

In response, Pence spokesperson Matthew Lloyd said, "More than 1,000 jobs for hard working Hoosiers were going to leave Indiana for Mexico. Those jobs are now staying right here in Indiana thanks to the efforts of President-elect Trump and Vice President-elect Pence."

USW Local 1999 had a brief meeting with Carrier on Thursday to discuss severance packages for those who will still be affected by Carrier's outsourcing. Those discussions will continue over the next few weeks.

The union was not involved in any discussions with President-elect Trump.

So...all of your thread has been about the union folks, who obviously can't do their jobs, screaming about Trump lying. Yet they don't even have a clue as to what the deal was for as they weren't even involved...likely because they have no place working in the role they have as shown by the fact it takes an outside entity to get something done.

I also love how they say that they go by seniority on the job as to who gets cut. Not if your good at it...just seniority....shows how out of touch the unions really are. Also shows how little the union cares about quality.

In 2009, the California-based green energy solar panel manufacturer Solyndra received a $535 million loan. The stimulus-funded loan, which was originally applied for in 2006 under the Bush Administration, was guaranteed by the Department of Energy.

Newsmax

That was a loan to stimulate green energy, out of quite a few companies given loans for that purpose, Solyndra went bankrupt.

It is not just me and why the caps? A portion of those jobs were never leaving. Should we add random jobs from every other business in the country that have no plans to move to Mexico?

By your logic, we would have to.

Besides all of those, CNN and the union boss especially dispute it.

It could be 800, technically, but Carrier is sending about that many from their 2nd Indiana plant to Mexico.

Yep...stimulate it into bankruptcy....like I said.... $7mil or $530mil....but who's counting right? Just us tax payers and apparently the left don't mind paying more than their fair share. Wonder how the execs at solyndra fared....oh that's right....still creating startups.

So...handed $535 million, bankrupt 2 years later and offices raided by FBI....great choice and waste of taxpayer dollars...way to research that company Obama and team!!!

Reldra, youve gone full retard

We now agree (despite your earlier claim that the figure was wrong) that 1100 jobs are staying in the US, great

What we disagree on is Trumps truthfulness

Trump never took credit for saving anything, he quite humbly thanked Carrier for keeping the jobs in the US and in another speech said "After talking with Carrier weve managed to keep 1100 jobs in the US"
The sources you are quoting are deliberately misleading people and as evidenced by your comments in this thread, turning peoples brains to mush.

Try and find the video of Trump saying HE saved the jobs, you wont find it.

The premise of your OP was that the 1100 number was wrong, its not.
1100 employees from Carrier will still be based in the US

The fact that people are trying to spin it like hes an asshole for saving 800 jobs or that he mislead anyone is sickening
Seriously, I dont agree with you on anything but I do appreciate having an opposing viewpoint, admit you were wrong and we can move on and argue in the next thread were Trump does something wonderful but you people try and spin it so hes a bad guy.

I enjoy disliking you but the absolute cognitive dissonance and desperation from you in this thread is making me pity you and its hard to argue with someone you feel sorry for

It's funny...instead of being happy about 1150 jobs staying here the OP is upset about other jobs leaving. So I guess the OP would rather have 2200 jobs leaving?

I just don't get the complaining over any jobs staying...even if the number actually was off, which it isn't.

It's more than the union or Obama or HRC has done for these workers, yet the bad is the only thing focused on because it is Trump.

Had Trump NOT done what he did, or had HRC won, ALL of these jobs would have been moved...Obama damn sure didn't try to do anything and he IS our current POTUS.

Hell...Obama gave them a $5.1 million tax break in 2013 to save the Indianapolis plant....worked out about as well as the solyndra thing.
