So I'm British and yet because I post and communicate on ATS I'm now a part of the Russia propaganda machine. Sweet! Maybe I might apply for Russian citizenship and join Steven Seagal

This list and site doesn't say anything about being created by the Washington Post?

On a serious note, this is how the Jews must have felt like during the Nazi time...

I am just wondering if we will have to wear some kind of a marking on us in order for "ordinary" people to recognize us as paid Russian fake news conspiracy site

Is that the next step?

That and more could be possible if they can find a way to flip this election and they are trying.

The Washington Post published a list of websites they claim are Russian propaganda sites and ATS made the list!

www.propornot.com...

The link is dated as Nov. 9, but is ongoing. I think the list came out yesterday.

That is not true.

This list is created by some person or entity, but not Wapo.

Whoever created this list also explains on their poorly curated list that the criteria they use is simply places that have false stories...not places deliberately promoting them.

Who cares? The internet is a big place and people can make lists.

Yah,

Except for that one time that ATS invited Ben Swann to park his whole commie-ass hooptie here this story is entirely laughable.

Almost entirely.

3. of course fake news ends up on ATS. Its why we have a HOAX and LOL forum to collect them.

And yet the front page of ATS is plastered with the threads about the ludicrous 'pizzagate' hoax....

The Corbet Report was listed as a major supplier of Russian propaganda on PropOrNot. So he has done a response video, pointing out some of the silliness (just over 15mins). Still no clue who these guys are, just that they are standing in the dark pointing fingers all over the place.

It only took 10 minutes for the rest of the class to figure it out. Skim through the first few pages and all will be revealed.

What a load of BS coming from some of the most bias outlets in the world. I visited Denver pre election and roomed with a person who had CNN playing non stop. It was astounding to me how pro Clinton and anti Trump it was. Its a loss of control they are worried about. We must remember that those of us who visit RT and Sptunik news do so along with many other main stream media outlets. I for one am and have been sick of the clear left or right leaning MSM outlets. I'll say it one last time, YOUR PAID ACTORS ARE NOT THE VOICE OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE! Had Clinton not had the gun grabbing stance she would have beaten Trump plain and simple, but instead she went against the peoples will etc..

ATS is a vestige of free speech a place where all are welcome to express their opinions.

The way ATS is structured is user driven. ATS is both a place for outright political propaganda, including Russian government sponsored..and a place for that Propaganda to be debunked and challenged...aka deny ignorance.

Nothing is ever moved to the hoax been until a member ( not mod ) alerts the mods and provides complete evidence of debunking.

In short...yes..ATS is an outlet for fake news and Russian Propaganda. It's members conspiratorial mindset and hatred of regular media channels that might challenge their worldview makes it fertile ground for propaganda.
It is also a place where those fake news stories and propaganda can be challenged, dissected and debunked ..and that is what this list missed.

honestly though...my sense of ATS in the past 18 months is that skeptical members that would challenge fake and false stories have been dwindling in numbers..and folks championing complete BS stories have grown. So what is ATS? It is what it's members make it.

I find it ironic that this OP itself decided to claim the list was created by the Washington Post...which itself was BS aimed at discrediting Wapo. Facts and accuracy matter.

Russia has very much begun a new phase in the information war...up to each member to choose to examine that and look closely..or not.
