What's ironic is that it was the Republican party that was all "McCarthy". It was the Republicans that were xenophobic and afraid of foreign influence in America back in the 50's and 60's.

And now?

And now they're openly welcoming foreign subversion...

So it's more acceptable if Soros, other individuals, and heads of state line the Clintons pockets to influence policy making to benefit themselves?

Sorry. Hillary was just another elite, looking to profit from the desires of other elites. All at the wellbeing of the useful idiots.

Kinda interesting how the idea paid Russian trolls is so funny to this group, and yet we constantly hear about the paid Soros trolls. All the protests, always paid Soros. Soros the ultimate boogeyman. Soros probably paying for the recount, probably paid for Hillary's votes. Soros this, soros that... but mention paid Russian trolls and a very specific segment of ATS just laughs. Silly U.S. Intelligence thinking it's smarter than armchair ATS right-wingers.

So you elect a billionaire, who's appointing more billionaires to clean up the mess made by these billionaires?

I'm not following this logic?

This site is flooded daily with conservatives conspiracies, most are pure fiction and no matter how often debunk it will still be denied and reposted. So it's no wonder we made the list with sources like Breitbart, RT, GatewayPundit, Fox News, Drudge Report, and so on, all pushing propaganda constantly and so are many of our members, we all know who they are.

Facts didn't matter during the election, that much is obvious, so whether it was Russian propaganda or not, it didn't matter either because these agendas were all agreed upon and pushed.

It's very sad ATS made this list because this is obvious user driven and that is a reflection of what this site has been this past year, nay years. Ignorance has not been denied on ATS, it's been embraced.

I am a pro-america shill. I'll admit it.

Putin if you can hear me I will change allegiance, I will shill for 2000 ruble per post for you.
I know the sanctions and low oil prices are hurting, but my services are not cheap.

The "going rate" to shill for Russia is about $700 a week (or so I hear). Seriously.

What are you saying???

I've been brushing up on my Russian language skills and was hoping I could get some help from the MODs!!!

Google Translate is your comrade, loam. If it wasn't for a
plugin that probably tracks my banana cream pie recipes
on the sly I'd never understand what Cowboy says half the
time all the time. I'm not fluent in frazzlekatn, and am
bum-injured for it. Now the WaPo is telling me we're ALL
put the yeast in at ATS.
I'm watching The Shining out of the corner of my eye
right now; and it's like a Discovery Channel rockumentary
compared to the thread. Time for a shooter of Evan W.

There's really only a few words worth knowing.
...
You don't have to eat the soup. The soup is a lie.

Unfortunately the soup, although weak and usually thin
is still Deep Purple. And I can't remember them ever
doing a bad show in Russia while Lord was alive.

Back to the thread-- when the MSM tries as obvious a
deflection of its own behavior so soon after something
as important as a presidential election kabuki this size
is exposed, it means something big is probably up.

I've seen backbones slow down, DDos attacks picking up
right along with the rhetoric from clueless establishment
dweebs about redisinfoism and its catastrophic hilarity--
and just maybe trying in a nutshell to shut down whatever
is left of credibility in journalism, much less "TRUTH".

That was a lot of sentence just there, given. But when
Pilate asked just the three little words, "What IS truth?"
nobody in Nicaea really answered later, did they?

I dunno dude, but the Russians are a lot more into hacking and deep web stuff per capita than us Americans.

I think their oppressive culture has forced a lot of the youth over there into it. While American teens and young adults are free to pretty much dance around in ignorant bliss online -- young Russians are learning how to encrypt their emails and cover their online tracks.

I'll take that into account when I get laid off for a bit in the winter

I don't understand why they bother with the extremely lame propaganda attempts. The populace is either smart enough to see the obviousness of it all, or not smart enough to be able to read (or even comprehend if it were read to them.)

I don't understand how anyone stupid enough to buy into such nonsense is able to survive in the world. I mean, you would have to add at least 30 IQ points to a person who believes it to enable the ability to chew food.

As Charlie Brown would say, "Good Grief!" (Or did I learn that bit of American pop culture at KGB Propaganda School?)

This thread is not about whether paid russian trolls exist, its about being labeled a fake news site controlled by russians. Which is not even in the same ballpark, or galaxy.

Funny. If Joe Schmoo regular poster made this claim they would be attacked with:

"Source!. Prove it and source it or it AINT TRUE!"

The Wash post does it and I see people comment the reverse.

"How oh how can we convice the accuser this isn't true!?!?!"

I wonder why the Wash P gets the benefit of the doubt?

ATS may have pro CTs but I come here for the pro Debunkers. This site is incredible at investigating topics that most people can't even explain or fathom. I don't think ATS is a Russian prop tool at all but I wouldn't care where the questions/answers posted here came from either. They are that relevant. Einstein was a German during the Nazi reign. I would say it would have been a mistake to judge him for pushing German related info to our science community. ATS is tapping nerves... Congrats! That can only mean someone hurting someone else is about to be exposed and stopped.

And for The Waspo's to actually come to that conclusion shows the lack of investigative journalism they conduct before printing a story. ATS has a lot on it so to even label it with such a shallow description and print it to a large audience is quite amateur and immature. And Yea.. I really think that was quite an immature move to knock ATS bc someone got called out and deserved it. Grow Up.

Well, when you have Russians sitting in buildings in St. Petersburg, getting paid $700 a month to argue with people online...

"Truth" really doesn't enter into that equation. Putting up a front that more people support a side is what's important. Deflecting, debasing, distracting, and demoralizing is the name of the game. Not sharing information.

Trolls are one thing and i am sure that their is a few of them on all sides and sites such as ATS but ATS is a site that lets people express their free opinions on most subjects and trolls are quite often weeded out or shown for what they really are. A Russian propogander site would not allow some of the vigourous debate that went on about issues that happened in the ukraine and about flight mh17 that maybe did not reflect on russia or Putin in the best of light depending on your opinion. Their is quite a lot of vigourous debate on ATS discussing many issues and this is probally the intention of its owners and the majority of the people that visit this site.
