"Exclusion Zones"? Thats a lark, what exclusions were given to Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria?

Afghanistan is landlocked and does not have a coastal exclusionary zone. The other countries all have one.

US doesn't care about International borders, exclusion zones or Sovereignty. Except their own or that of their allies / cronies, exclusively.

Everyone knows this hypocrites double standard which only some people in the west continue to deny.

I don't know if he has the balls, but he seems stupid enough.

Maybe China could blame it on their crazy little cousin....

Your opinion of the United States and its policies is irrelevant. China encroached on several other country's territorial waters. Deal with it.

The hypocrisy is stunning:

China is the biggest beneficiary of freedom of navigation in the South China Sea and won't let anybody damage it, Sun said.

"But China consistently opposes so-called military freedom of navigation, which brings with it a military threat and which challenges and disrespects the international law of the sea," Sun said.

"This kind of military freedom of navigation is damaging to freedom of navigation in the South China Sea, and it could even play out in a disastrous way," he added, without elaborating.

and then...

China's air force also said on its microblog it had recently carried out "normal battle patrols" over the South China Sea involving bombers, spy planes and flying tankers, including over Scarborough Shoal, which is disputed with the Philippines.

Such air patrols would become "a regular practice" in the future, Xinhua reported an air force spokesman as saying.

I don't think it would be him. I have always thought the Chinese may have some input on that one. He does it...level NK and that allows the rest of the chain to happen.

"Encroached on waters"? A defensive response to ongoing US military occupation of "several other" eastern Pacfic Rim nations.

Who cares? The Philippines have a legitimate complaint. Not to mention Japan, Vietnam and Malaysia.

There is lots of legitimate complain about US. Guess what happened to them. Regime change and them not GTFO. Instead our boys get sent over, get slaughter come back homeless. Watch West before East because China has yet to do such as thing in modern world. This isn't the first Cold War anymore. Warsaw pact is dead. Communistic support of dictators no longer exist. Now we have so called Capitalistic dictators using Democracy as a disguise.

They don't have to fight the West, specifically the U.S. All they need to do is dump the trillions in short term cash positions they hold and the Western economy will collapse into anarchy. THAT ladies and gentleman, is the war that will be fought in the 21st century.

If China is unable to call them, neither will anyone else. It will destroy the economy from within. You may feel you have a point but I'm sorry my friend you are incorrect. The world depends on the validity of these notes.

The result: it will send the entire Western economy into a tailspin. The Middle Eastern Emirates will dump the caveat currency, Petro Dollars and re-price oil in some other currency perhaps rubles or yuan, who knows.

In any event, it will cause havoc in the markets and the war that never was will be over before it starts. The U.S. will have no choice but to retaliate in order to protect their already fragile economy by starting a real bullets and bombs war. This is the inevitable result since there will be nothing else to assist in the recovery of their markets.

China is betting you are correct, the Phillppines,Vietnam, and free trade in the Pacific DO NOT agree with you.it isn't America's choice.

Wanna bet on that? The Free Trade Pact you are referring to will be ignored by U.S. interests in the same way that NAFTA is consistently ignored.

Protectionist forces always come to the forefront during times of uncertainty and American companies and politicians circle the wagons and tie other countries and companies in court for years. This is fact. It will be no different with the recently signed Pacific Free Trade Agreement.

China claiming Malaysia's, Vietnam's and the Philippine's territorial waters has nothing to do with the United States. Look at a map and try to follow along.
