He does talk about killing himself. His daddy died right after he was born. He wants to go be with his daddy. We tell him he needs to complete his time in this world before he can cross over to another one. If he goes before his time, he won't get to go to the world his daddy chose to go to.

He's been very clear that he is a boy. He knows he is a boy. Even though he has no interest in sports, super heroes, cars, trucks, etc.

I see no indication at this time he questions his gender.

Welcome to parenting.

I raised my own, helped raise my now 22 year old grandson, and am now raising my 8 year old grandson.

I made lots of mistakes, hopefully learned from them.

I've read a few posts and didn't go past the first page and I dunno what to say.

I've just came from debating on a Fox News comment section and one actually claimed that you can train a child to be transgender.

The world has gone crazy and it ain't from the left.

Yes, I left that part out.

We did periodic counseling with the 16 year old starting with the school counselor.

I highly recommend counseling. Sometimes they only need a couple sessions, sometimes more.

Being a man or a woman or a boy or a girl they call social constructs as if it being male or female is something unnatural but feeling the need to teach children that it all is not as it seems and that they are neither male of female does not tell anyone who is in support of this that that automaticly means there is something wrong with this?

They are going out of their way to go against these kids nature here. This IS the real social engineering and they are pushing for it while spitting on actual human nature and poisoning our children, I would advice anyone to remove their children from any school that supports this.

It really doesn't have to go further than this but when Johnny starts second grade as Jane, what are you supposed to say to kids? It will not simply be accepted because kids will hone in on each others weakneses and use that against each other. and again , that is not because their parents tell them to pick on kids because they have glasses or stutter. They do that all on their own. Also part of nature.

You probably have been having your eyes closed to reality for some time now. All this SJW business has actually increased bullying and violence all through out the states, and guess what, it is the left doing all the bullying ,demanding and acting violent. I am with you. It should always be the parents who teach their children, and children 5 years old shouldn't be taught about sex, nor transexualism... They are children... But that choice should rest on the parents and not the State.

What the government is doing is imposing the will of the State, and indoctrinating children from an early age. This is just the start, this sort of "mandate/law" will be implemented all over the United States. It is the way that Marxists indoctrinate children by stating that the education of children should only rest on the government and not on the parents... Parents won't have a say in this. This is exactly what happened in Cuba, the U.S.S.R., etc, except that back then the idealism used for the Marxists to gain all power was "gender equality".

Is gender equality worth it? yes, to a point. But not to the point that it gives the State/government all power, or that the State can dictate what lifestyle is adequate. It should be left to every individual to have their own lifestyle and to follow and teach their children the lifestyle they agree with. It shouldn't be the State making these decisions. That's what socialism is all about. And people have been claiming "the socialist/communist threat never existed"?... Really? That threat is right before your eyes. This time using another "equality issue which the State dictates".
