Edit: I redact the tourists part,I read too fast (swear a "visited" claim was in there, but apparently not) I still maintain skepticism, you'd expect droves to be flocking to forums such as this to back the claim, no? Kinda funny no posters from these countries crop up united to back them.

Eh, many of those who would back this have trouble turning on the computer, much less typing something readable on it...

Or so I've discovered over the years. All that's required is fear.

Or as Captian Picard said in "The Drumhead":

You know, there are some words I've known since I was a schoolboy. "With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably." Those words were uttered by Judge Aaron Satie as wisdom and warning. The first time any man's freedom is trodden on, we're all damaged.

I remember when Obama got elected, people said that our relationship with Muslim majority nations was going to improve dramatically! Does anyone see any improvement?

You're misusing the word "facts".

You've offered nothing which refutes no-go zones popping up across Europe and offering a foundation for extremism to fertilize. Just an emotional reaction, lashing out at reality while attempting to distort the issue at hand.

As for the Muslim population on Tower Hamlets:

London Borough of Tower Hamlets: Bethnal Green South (45.7%); Bromley-by-Bow (48.7%); East India and Lansbury (42.9%); Limehouse (35.5%); Mile End and Globe Town (34.3%); Mile End East (45.9%); Shadwell (46.7%); Spitalfields and Banglatown (38.6%); St Dunstan's and Stepney Green (48.7%); Weavers (30.3%); and Whitechapel (42.4%).

There's an extremist Muslims group there called the Tower Hamlets Taliban.

Victims say that officers in the borough of Tower Hamlets have ignored or downplayed outbreaks of hate crime, and suppressed evidence implicating Muslims in them, because they fear being accused of racism. The claims come as four Tower Hamlets Muslims were jailed for at least 19 years for attacking a local white teacher who gave religious studies lessons to Muslim girls. The Sunday Telegraph has uncovered more than a dozen other cases in Tower Hamlets where both Muslims and non-Muslims have been threatened or beaten for behaviour deemed to breach fundamentalist “Islamic norms.”

We also know there have been Sharia patrols in Tower Hamlets.

Only last week i was posting about the racist Muslims of Tower Hamlets known as “The Muslim Patrol“. They were a bunch of Islamic bullies who harassed and intimidated non Muslims on the streets of East London trying to enforce Sharia Law. Once again reports that racist Muslim bullies have once again appeared on those same streets of Tower Hamlets only this latest Muslim crew are much more ruthless and violent. If ever prove was needed that multiculturalism has failed and Tower Hamlets is a no go area for non Muslims then this is it.

Denial runs deep. What can I say. Your argument is essentially, "I've personally seen nothing". Well, I might suggest some new glasses. I can likely find some American living in El Paso who see nothing wrong with illegal immigration or the drug war at their doorstep. That bubble will burst sooner or later, however.

Cruz calls for patrols of Muslim neighborhoods

Thankfully, Cruz and his ilk are here to protect us all from those oh, so dangerous Muslims.

Shades of the 30's, in a little country called Germany. Or the U.S. in the 40's. Do we learn nothing from history?

Apparently not. Segregate. Separate. Keep us safe from that which is different.

I'm sorry, Cruz. Bite me, you little Trump wanna-be. Or is it someone else you wanna be? Kinda odd, actually, since he'd want to do away with you...rather harshly.

Pander your crap elsewhere, sir. I'm not buying...ever.

?????????????????????????
Let's start off with the fact that a fraction of muslims are extremists - just as a fraction of Christians are also extremists. So therefore your demographic numbers are worthless. Secondly I LIVE IN THIS AREA. I have seen nothing, heard nothing, about the things that you - from wherever the hell you are - are postulating now exist or will eventually exist here.
There has been no reaction from me. I'm just stating what I have seen and witnessed, first hand. What do you have? Oh yes, things taken out of context or reported by bigots with an agenda.
Now go away and get a damn education. Because all you have so far is hate, denial and paranoia.

I remember how famously GW Bush and his family had connections with the Saudi royal family. As for the rest of middle eastern countries bush relationship with Muslim majority nations weren't improved but worsened because of the Iraqi war.

You've still offered nothing.

Just insults. Simply ignored the issue at large while deflecting.

A quick look at your posting style suggests you use the same tactics over and over.

(Facepalm) Thanks for confirming that you didn't read my link and have no idea whatsoever about what you are talking about. I write about FACTS.

Asbestos is lethal over the long term, as every unbiased scientist knows. So when I write about it I state facts. It's also a fact that in Trump rallies the media are forced into pens and told not to leave. It's a fact that Trump invariably points to them and insults them during his rallies. It's a fact that that the crowd reacts angrily to this. And it's a fact that the media cannot instigate any violence from their pen, they can only report what happens. Believe it or not, there is no vast media conspiracy against Trump. There are just people who report on what happens. I'm sorry if you believe otherwise. Reality is sadly based on facts.

?????????????????????????????????????? I write about everything from asbestos (still damn well happening) to flooding (increasingly happening) to drones (very annoying). Insurers worry about this kind of thing and carry out a lot of research into trends like this. So I have access to 'facts'. This seems to worry you.

Fascinating. Then you obviously know very little about it. A bit like Trumpster.

Yes, facepalm and "facts" and then the "you don't know what you're talking about" while you offer nothing else.

Being that you're not using enlightened as a positive thing I'll assume you're insulting me. Why so angry?

In any case, your suggestion was terrible. My suggestion? Well our foreign policy has to change but more importantly so does the corruption in our govt. The US clearly had an agenda for the Middle East and they use terrorism as a tool. So to fight terrorism abroad should begin at home but it will be damn near impossible to make these changes because the corruption runs so deep. This why I support Sanders because of all of them he's the only talking about and fighting corruption.

Usually those who fight corruption are THEMSELVES corrupt. SO trade one monster for another one. Bernies a Zionist by blood so dont be surprised.

Well ya of course the Bushes and the Saudis were buddies- they were all in the oil business. But my post was about how Obama was supposed to make the U.S. best buds with all the Muslim nations. I notice nobody is defending Obama, who seems to have made things worse, not better.

But, Obama more than tripled the muslim immigrants to our country, didn't he? I would say, 'yeah, they're buds."

I had never heard of Muslim "no go" zones but this guy at Breitbart would seem to agree with you.

I don't really see how it's such a stretch of the imagination that an area could become controlled by a violent group to the point that authorities lose control and consider it a "no go zone".

I know the neighborhood in Phoenix that I grew up in; on New Year's eve the police would literally refuse to respond. We would hide in the hallway of our house as gang members walked up and down the street firing guns into the air. The year before we moved my dad found 2 bullets in the living room that had come through the ceiling.

As usual you must be a Trump supporter. That method has being tried and hasn't worked before.

Preventing Muslims from entering this country has already been tried? Preventing Muslim neighborhoods from forming has already been tried? Where? When? I see people whining about how mean ID cards would be.

Trump is the only one who's spoken up about this threat while most everyone else cries about how rude he is. And it's a disgrace the tune shifts only when there's a recent attack where innocents lose their lives.

I'm going to give trump credit he even warned us about Belgium back in January. He warned that bad things were happening there. And blamed it on the Muslims failure to assimilate into Belgian society.

I agree, patrolling Muslim neighborhoods or issuing ID cards to a certain group of people is a bad sign because it sets a precedent for doing the same thing towards another group of people. It could be socialists, even far-right Christians.

There supposed to all ready have ids issued to them and are supposed to stay in contact with the immigration department until there citizenship has been approved. However these rules have been shall we say ignored. And now some how these rules that are already in existence causes debate like this. Any country has a right to monitor non citizens in their country. And even have separate rules for them and if their Visa is revoked or denied are supposed to leave the country.

The Japanese were plum crazy in world war II. Our pilots certainly weren't willing to go on kamikaze missions. However, we would not have won had we fought under this limp wrist PC correctness. Our leadership no longer has the testicular fortitude to end this sh*t right now like we did in WWII.

WW2 was a war over territory, the war against terror is a war over ideology. Land, blood, control, and bullets don't win it, it's an actual unconventional war. If anything, taking conventional action only makes things worse as it convinces more people to join. Look at how well our drone program has worked, then look at things from their perspective. If Russia or China invaded the US, started killing random civilians with little to no cause, installed a puppet government, and took your nations resources... what would you do?

If we were to fight this WW2 style, how would we even go about that? There's no nations to invade or governments to topple. Putting our soldiers on the ground can create a tenuous peace in the area the soldiers are deployed, but they'll just go bomb a train station in our homeland instead. There is no front line to hold and there is no opposing government to topple. It's just a loosely affiliated coalition united by an ideology, and due to that decentralized nature you can't take out the head to control the body.

If they're truly Muslims, they fear nothing but Allah...

So short of educating these people that they're pissing off God, nothing will work.

Not bombs, not bullets, not even a McDonalds on every Middle Eastern Street.

They generally have an uncomfortable lifestyle. Comforts tend to soften people and make them less extreme. As a result, one way to fight them actually is to put McDonalds on every street corner, give them all air conditioning, and not blow up their infrastructure. Let them have nice lives to enjoy and they won't be so quick to take a shot at an afterlife.
