Suffice to say, picking dead children up out of hospital rubble is a sure way to ensure this bulls# happens.

You can call me an apologist, but facts are facts...

Maybe one day you'll understand.

I think everybody on all sides has picked up dead children......

It's interesting that you bring up "the war on drugs" because I think that we are fighting terrorism the same way pharma treats people.

Pharma doesn't ever want to find a cure and end disease. They only want to find treatments that will keep the customer for the rest of their life. They don't want to cure a person, they want someone dependent on them forever.

The government doesn't want to end the war on terror, they don't want to win the war on terror. They want to perpetuate an enemy to further restrict our freedoms.

Take Cruz's plan. It won't end terror, it'll simply place us all in a police state.

Yes. Because then they might understand that attacking the west might not be such a good idea.

They want to provoke the west. Their preferred outcome is a massive invasion where they get to exchange their blood for our treasury and eventually break us through bankruptcy.

Talk of revenge is precisely what they want.

The operative phrase being "depending on your interpretation".

If you wanna play around with that, sure you could come up with a myriad of different interpretations. But lets be honest, does our constitution supersede the constitutions of other countries? not from what I can tell.

And yet, as I said, giving the government a free pass, is a bad idea. Just because another countries constitution doesn't say you can't waterboard people, doesn't mean the American government should be able to waterboard people as long as it's in that country. The constitution exists specifically to prevent the government from violating the rights outlined within it.

Really, the idea of interpretation was just my polite way of telling you that you're wrong; but you're welcome to your wrong opinions after all.

The Muslims can start fixing it by agreeing on what their holy book should and shouldn't say concerning infidels and so on.

with 1.5 Billion+ on Earth, and only a couple hundred thousand causing problems, it seems to me that the overwhelming majority do agree on it.

So we fight them differently. We don't let them dictate battlefield conditions. When you do that, you've lost before you've even started.

1.6 billion Muslims in the world. Muslim extremism could be crushed in a matter of days if the other Muslims stood up for their religion and did something about it.

Yeah, thought so.

4.5 billion men in the world. Rape by men could be eliminated in a matter of days if the other men stood up for their gender and did something about it.

Right?

None of us have been able to permanently eliminate bad people in our own cultures and countries. Why should we expect the Muslims to fix it?

How are those comparable?

The Muslims can start fixing it by agreeing on what their holy book should and shouldn't say concerning infidels and so on.

So, men can also fix the rape problem by just agreeing that it's bad...

You're trying to simplify something that is waaaaay more complicated.

Cruz calls for patrols of Muslim neighborhoods

“We need to immediately halt the flow of refugees from countries with a significant Al Qaeda or ISIS presence,” the Texas senator said in a statement. “We need to empower law enforcement to patrol and secure Muslim neighborhoods before they become radicalized.

Ted Cruz is now using Trump comments and is making things matter worse.

It is truly ridiculous statements like that which are divisive. Conservatives will find no problem with it though.

And we have come to complete agreement! The core of these problems is corruption, it's everywhere but since we're Americans we'll focus on our gov't but every single gov't is guilty, many more so than others. Maybe a possible end to terrorism and great many other things is for a world wide revolution, not a bloody one but an intellectual one. Of course, there will always be violence, to deny that would be ignorant, but don't let the revolution be about violence.

How so? Choosing to fight at all hands them the victory because they only need to attack one location but we have to defend thousands/millions. It costs them virtually nothing to simply exist and present an occasional threat while it costs us hundreds of billions per year to maintain an army/invasion force. Even if we don't invade, look at what we've spent on airline security after a single successful attack and a couple unsuccessful ones. That is the modern battlefield, and in terms of expense we lost that fight by a lot.

By whom?

There are hundreds of no-go zones across Europe. Citizens know it, police know it, the media knows it.

Denial of reality doesn't change reality.

LOL. You missed it being disproven. There is even a video montage of how many times FOX news said it in a day.

There is NO SUCH THING.

There's your problem, relying on Fox and the American MSM.

I'm not surprised someone living in such a bubble would call the no-go zones "fabled". Yet venture outside your bubble into Europe and the reality will hit you like a sub-freezing Arctic front.

I don't rely on Fox, in fact I never watch it but I'm well aware of their constant lies, misinformation, and trash they put on the airwaves 24/7 and they love them some No Go Zones! Didn't we first hear about them nationally from Fox News?

Like the poster I just responded to, your error is in looking for an American MSM outlet to either confirm or deny their existence.

However, there's dozens upon dozens of articles close to the situation overseas which have reported on this issue for years, as well as dozens of videos showing just what it's like venturing into these no-go zones.

It's to the point the evidence is so ample, so easy to find, you literally have to live under a rock to argue otherwise.

Then we go back to my original post.

We destroy them, we break them, we become the monsters THEY think THEY are.

But to be fair, my idea is about as realistic as a team of angry unicorns defeating ISIS from LALA Land.

You may as well give up. Some like to pick and choose their MSM talking points, embracing it when it suits them and mocking it when it nukes their agenda. Because, you know, they can't discern reality for themselves.

Ok , you put that in quotes. Need backup from when and where that was quoted from Cruz....

I realize you're being coy but you I didn't give Cruz that nickname for nothing and I'm sure you're aware of that. Cruz is actually the only candidate this election I find worse than Trump but I fairly sure that he would have even less of a chance of winning in the general election so I'm less concerned (proportionality).

Here's how Ted Cruz makes decisions like should he or should he not run for President according to his father:

My son Ted and his family spent six months in prayer seeking God's will for this decision. But the day the final green light came on, the whole family was together. It was a Sunday. We were all at his church, First Baptist Church in Houston, including his senior staff. After the church service, we all gathered at the pastor's office. We were on our knees for two hours seeking God's will. At the end of that time, a word came through his wife, Heidi. And the word came, just saying, "Seek God's face, not God's hand." And I'll tell you, it was as if there was a cloud of the holy spirit filling that place. Some of us were weeping, and Ted just looked up and said, "Lord, here am I, use me. I surrender to you, whatever you want." And he felt that was a green light to move forward.

Ted Cruz is a dominionist. Dominionists are intrinsically theocrats. As for the stone the gays bit, read here.

I have not looked to an american MSM outlet to comfirm or deny the existence. I did refer to a funny video, but that isn;t my proof. You only assumed it was.

One source

The Fox News commentator who said the British city of Birmingham was a no-go zone for non-Muslims is a “complete idiot”,“When I heard this, frankly, I choked on my porridge and I thought it must be April Fools’ day,” the prime minister, David Cameron, has said.
