I have yet to find an argument that would get me to support socialism.

What would Sanders do if elected president and what has he done as Senator and Mayor? Would he turn the USA into a NAZI regime to rival Hitler? Would he turn us all Red? No.

He would try to update, add, change and/or Implement some social programs. What is a social program? We already have them, medicaid, medicare, Obamacare, K-12 Education, Social SEcurity, unemployment benefits and on and on and on.

Are any of those social programs worth implementing or changing? Those are the questions.

Unemployement benefits come out of the worker's wages and require higher taxes which also come out of the worker's wages. k-12 education has always been leverage on society by the Powers That Be, a place where you learn that Social Programs are manna from heaven.

All of these programs are using taxes to buy votes for massive government. None of them are necessary in a natural economy. Socialism ruins the economy.

Some people need these programs now. These programs should be grandfathered out.

As a college student in 1963, Sanders was a guest of the Hashomer Hatzair, a Marxist youth movement founded by communist Ya’akov Hazan, who called the Soviet Union a second homeland and eulogized Stalin as “the great leader and extolled commander. We lower our flag in grief in memory of the great revolutionary fighter (and) architect of socialist construction.”

Ignoring Stalin’s atrocities, Hazan oozed: “His huge historical achievements will guide generations in their march toward the reign of socialism and communism the world over.”

The Marxist movement Sanders joined pledged its allegiance to the Soviet Union and was described as “Stalinist” as late as 1969 — well after Sanders’ visit.

Well there's the Rub or the issue. It's fun to say the constitution doesn't call for helping our fellow citizens out and we all want smaller government and lower taxes, but...

how do you grandfather people out? What would happen if we just stopped all of those social or welfare programs?

What if I we hit a world wide Depression and I lost my business and my wife lost her job and we were scraping by on part time work, if we were that lucky and then one of our kids got cancer and then I got in a car wreck and couldn't work and how could I afford to homeschool my children right now, I can't, and then who pays for infrastructure, like our highways and bridges, and how many children couldn't afford college if we did away with all the grants, loans and subsidies.

You see the problems, right?

Those problems are going to happen for sure-- because of social programs. They only thing keeping the socialism we already have rolling along is debt.

When the system crashes, the social program you depend on will have to walk on water, because everything in the economy will be jammed into the wrong place.

We have known since he FIRST OPENED HIS MOUTH that he is a "socialist" - you are acting all surprised to have found that out. He calls himself a socialist. Openly, blatantly. He never tried to hide it.

The problem is that you don't understand the difference between socialized health care and education and full-out Communism. No Part of Bernie's platform is to take control of all businesses. None.

No Part of it includes forcing everyone to live an "equal" quality of life.
