There have been a lot of threads, and members claiming Sanders is good for the United States, and that he will bring everyone freedom, will increase the wages of everyone, and make everyone equal.

Of course, his speeches are full of euphemisms, exaggerations and outright lies.

When some members have asked why is Sanders so bad, many of them have ignored the facts, even when spoken by Sanders himself, because these people want to believe the lies, and exaggerations that surround the truth.

Sanders is not going to help Americans, he will implement complete socialist control in the U.S.

First, the truth of what Sanders wants to do with our Second Amendment Right.

Starting at 40 seconds he states he wants to ban all weapons except hunting rifles, and then states that all weapons that kill people should not be sold/should be banned in the United States... This of course includes the right of Americans to defend themselves against criminals, which Sanders wants to ban.

Sanders claims that he would reign in the Fed, but in reality he wants to control the economy, since he will nominate who the Senate can choose to run the Fed... That goes against the United States Constitution, and shows Sanders, like every good socialist, does not care for the U.S. Constitution, or the rights it gives to Americans.

What does it mean to be a social democrat/socialist democrat?

Social democracy, political ideology that advocates a peaceful, evolutionary transition of society from capitalism to socialism using established political processes. Based on 19th-century socialism and the tenets of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, social democracy shares common ideological roots with communism but eschews its militancy and totalitarianism. Social democracy was originally known as revisionism because it represented a change in basic Marxist doctrine, primarily in the former’s repudiation of the use of revolution to establish a socialist society.

Bernie Sanders: To Rein In Wall Street, Fix the Fed

By BERNIE SANDERS DEC. 23, 2015
...
If I were elected president, the foxes would no longer guard the henhouse. To ensure the safety and soundness of our banking system, we need to fundamentally restructure the Fed’s governance system to eliminate conflicts of interest. Board members should be nominated by the president and chosen by the Senate. Banking industry executives must no longer be allowed to serve on the Fed’s boards and to handpick its members and staff. Board positions should instead include representatives from all walks of life — including labor, consumers, homeowners, urban residents, farmers and small businesses.
...

www.nytimes.com...

The United States Constitution states that only Congress can issue coin, and regulate it's value.

In that same NYTimes article, which Sanders authored, he claims that loans would be given only to small and medium businesses, instead of helping bank institutions, and corporations. How exactly would he do that? by controlling all businesses is the only way. Of course, in this way he will also control who will have a business. The lie is that he will only go after big banks, and corporations, but the truth is that he will be able to control all businesses, and all means of production.

...
Democratic socialists on the other hand are typically seen as more radical left-wingers and advocate the outright replacement of capitalism with socialism. European parties such as Greece's Syriza or Spain's Podemos aim to drastically reduce inequality through radical changes in policy. Democratic socialists would have government inject itself into the financial system and take control of natural resources to help the broader populace before private profit.
...

www.dailykos.com...

First, notice the above link is very pro-socialist.

Take away all the lies, and euphemisms and go straight to the point, and you will understand that means government owning the means of production. Which means banning Americans the right to own any property that produces, and have government control it for the good of the collective...

Sanders will control the Feds, and all the means of production. Socialism at it's worse... Hence taking away the right to property

Let's continue...

...
Climate change is the most important issue of our time, and I fear that when I am old it will have become the only issue that matters. Sanders proposes taxing carbon and would do what it takes to reduce emissions in a country that emits far more per capita than practically any other industrialized country. Climate change and inequality are intertwined, as the latter enables the former by depriving those most at risk of the power they need to avoid disaster.
...

www.dailykos.com...

I am actually sure the Sanders supporters think that means that "only the rich would be taxed on carbon", but that assumption is wrong...

Under socialism, government rationing of resources is implemented for the good of the people.

Look at Venezuela for what it means such rationing.

Venezuela Rations Electricity, Blames Climate Change

by Frances Martel29 Apr 2015

The Venezuelan government will begin rationing electrical supplies this week in response to high demand triggered by heat. Public employees will only have to work six hours a day until further notice, and police units will be sent to inspect private businesses to ensure they only use their allotted amounts. Venezuelan Vice President Jorge Arreaza blamed the measures on climate change.
...

www.breitbart.com...

Venezuela right now is enforcing blackouts in businesses, including small ones, throughout the nation, and this is a nation rich in oil. They are only allowed to have electricity for 4 hours each day.

In the United States, under Sanders the same thing will happen. Sanders will use any and every measure to combat climate change. What better way to do it than using the rationing enforced under socialism?...

Enforcing blackouts in the United States will ensure people "help to fight climate change"... Of course, at first the enforcing will be to force every household, and business to have smart meters, which has been already implemented in many major cities in the U.S. Anyone who goes over a quote will be fined. Then more enforcing will be introduced, and finally a total rationing of electricity enforced like in Venezuela, a country that is truly socialist...

Sanders good for the United States? Hell no... He would completely destroy or re-write the United States Constitution, and he will take away many rights from Americans for the good of the collective...

Really?... These same policies were enforced in Venezuela, a true socialist country. Is it helping Venezuela and it's people?...

Did it end "addiction to slavery"?... It did not. It made Venezuelans slaves to socialism.

Socialism is the enslavement of a country by claiming it will save them...

The future of our planet will not be operating under capitalism.

There's no way this can keep going like it is.

Socialist government policies are why Western Capitalism has problems.

Simple as that.

Crystal Clear.

Meanwhile we have our souls sucked out so that we have the privilege to pay for oil, water, & electricity.

PS Venezuela isn't America. All humans are slaves to currency & the monopolies on natural resources by the lovable & generous private sector. /sarc
We need to work together globally to ensure humanities progression, which means moving beyond all political ideology. Taking natural resources out of the hands of the greedy seems like a fine first step to me.

I think you are off on several points. First of all, the Fed and "Feds" are two different things. One controls the money supply and the other is all government, but assuming you meant the Fed then yes, I wouldn't mind some more control of them since they are supposed to be there to serve us.

The part about only loaning to small and medium business most likely means government loans through the small business administration and other government entities, not the government running every single business like you seem to think.

The getting rid of private property part is just fantasy paranoia on your part, not supported by anything, unless you mean not letting a few people own everything. If that is what you mean then that would mean more ownership by the rest of us actually, not less, since everything won't be locked up in a few hands.

And the most important part is Bernie wouldn't be able to get 95% of his platform through congress, maybe some banking reform and that's about it, so why you're so paranoid is beyond me.

If people want socialism, then we will get socialism. It's that simple.

Someone old once said, We have a republic, if we can keep it.

Looks like we don't want to keep it.

I just wish people would stop lying about it.

Calling it "democratic socialism" is like putting "cake" before "dog poo".

I still won't put a candle on it and sing Happy Birthday.

If you want socialism, then just say it and don't be afraid to say it.

I honestly don't understand how people think Bernie Sanders as president would mean we turn the constitution on its head and everyone poor gets tons of free handouts.

Do people really think Congress would go along with stripping this country from the inside out and gutting everything that's already in the books?

Yeah, well... the allegedly conservative, 'I know-far-better-than-you' 'adults' had their 20 years , then the 'not-so-mean, but not-so-progressive' wonks had their blip o' time... I'm about ready for socialism-lite, myself.

I survived many years of having loathed "leaders" at the helm of my country, and watched loved ones suffer and die due to the (ofttimes) vile nature of our Darwinian system, and am stunned that it may actually be the selfish, 'I-got-mine-screw- y'all folks' turn to white knuckle it for a spell.

I'm almost positive this is the same rant used against every democratic candidate, in fact you could probably replace Bernie with Barack and Sanders with Obama and paste this into google and find it somewhere on the net, albeit, laced with far more xenophobic birtherisms and thinly veiled racism.

America is already loaded with socialist programs, the end of the day is America is hemorrhaging and its either going to programs to help everyone or it's going to banks and war.

More people should be tired of war than are and it should really bother you.

That is a nice rant and all but how exactly would Sanders implement anything? I mean under what authority could he do anything he speaks of?

Oh that's right he can't .

I think he is an important step in cleaning up corruption. He also has zero chance of passing anything your so afraid of.

What makes you say I want socialism? I don't want socialism. I was born and experienced socialism first hand by being born and raised part of my life in Cuba.

Socialism ALWAYS destroys a nation and enslaves it's people.

For years some other members and myself have been saying this is what the elites want, and under the claims of going against the elites, and for the people, socialism is always embraced by the masses who don't want to see the truth about this system.

Socialism represses EVERYONE for the good of the collective.
