That was some of the most unprofessional club security I've seen. The homoerotic photos were hilarious though.

In over 10 years I had maybe 4 fights on the door, each time was considered a huge failure and was because of something either I or my team did wrong. The goal should be to keep everyone safe and ensure they have a good time, not act like a psychotic twat and bully anybody that mouths off.

Well one thing is certain... Those 50 men will think twice before getting all touchy feely again in the future. Unfortunately that likely means they will change tactics and target women when they are isolated and vulnerable.

It would be the same in the United States as in the rest of Europe unfortunately. The police in the U.S. will arrest the Americans who tried to defend these women and the Muslim migrants would be able to sue the city, and even the police department for not stopping the beating earlier. Any American police officers who would beat a Muslim migrant that assaults a woman and decides to beat the hell of him would either lose his job, or be on suspension without pay.

That's the reality of America and most of Europe.

Here we are with another installment of SSDD. I sit with my head in my hands at some folks making the same apologist arguments for the nausea-inducing actions of these neanderthals.

I was raised in the deep south, and maybe I just give humanity too much credit, but I believe that every human being is born with the instinctive capacity to understand the difference between right and wrong, regardless of whether you happen to be Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Atheist, Agnostic, or a child of the Great Spirit (American Indians).

I was brought up to believe that women were humanity's greatest resource, and are to be treated as as goddesses. No matter if they are our mothers, sisters, daughters, nieces, etcetera...

I just can't imagine how anybody could think differently.

I can tell you this much, and I don't think I personally know of any male that feels differently, if a group of these Neanderthals mess with my daughter, or any of our female relatives, we have a tendency to attend to it without involving the authorities.

MY daughter? We take that kind of bullsh*t personally.
The bodies will simply never turn up.

That being said, it would be unlikely to get that far. A VERY large percentage of women down here carry.

The photograph in the article was taken in the daytime. The men doing the beating were using knauts, a sort of club, which means they were planning on beating someone when they left home. When the police arrived, they claimed that the immigrants had been sexually harassing Russian women in a night club, so instead of breaking them up and arresting everyone to let a court sort out what really happened, the police started beating on them too. What part of joining in a what appears to be a violent racist attack strikes you as being appropriate?

ETA: On closer inspection, the photograph in the article has nothing to do with the actual incident; nevertheless, it serves as a reminder that there are organized groups of Russian "nationalists" who inflict violence on people who voice opposition to the State. We do not have enough information about the incident to determine what actually happened. We do not know what time of day it was, what sort of "night club" it was, whether the men doing the beating were actually present or whether someone told them that the immigrants had been harassing women, or even if the immigrants had really been harassing anyone at all.

Under the circumstances, the police should have broken up the fight, not joined in. This is one reason why Russia is perceived as being so corrupt:

The worst time I had was a weekend at Henley Regatta, believe it or not.

Nothing like a few thousand entitled tossers up to their gills on pimms and bolly to cause more grief in one weekend than any nightclub goers manage in a year.

Hey, if these "refugees" want to act like animals, they should be treated as such. How about instead of spending their time going "Clubbing" and molesting women, they find a frakking job.

Nothing like a good public ass kicking to get the point across.

Re: the locals, the club nights were too diverse for there to be a large group of regular clientele from the local population, they put on everything from raves to gay nights. The few that were regulars were nearly all women and they were always well behaved.

What people did out of my sight and off the premises was not my business but we would have never tolerated anything like that inside, there was too much pressure and scrutiny from the local council for the place to be shut down because of all the random crime and stupidness the area was known for.

Did no one else notice that this article is barely news? No quotations from any witnesses or officials. Few details. A bunch of hyperlinks to the articles from which it is directly translated as "sources".

What happened? Did all 50 of them, on cue, start raping women in the bar? Did one of them grab a girl inappropriately, and these "heroes" decided to take it out on 20-50 other people at the same time? It says they "sexually assaulted" women "like in Cologne". All 50 of them? Some percentage of them, plus some other innocent bystanders of the same ethnicity? Who witnessed these assaults? How were the perpetrators identified? Where is the official source for the report they were "kicked out of Norway"? (The hyperlink is to another, nearly identical article.)

Why is the article accompanied by a photo of mob violence from a pro-Ukraine protest?

What we have here, as a source, could very well be a work of fiction. Horrible, rapist migrants mass assaulted women in an unnamed bar, before brave, noble Russians stepped in and gave them a taste of justice, Soviet style. Unnamed locals reported the story, and unnamed police decided to not file a report, conveniently explaining away the complete lack of any supporting documentation.

Very convincing.
