Engage the topic and dont make it personal.

Then you should lead by example. The image you have posted last you have spammed in this thread about 7 times along with other threads basically intimating that members are shills for the Kremlin. Don't have a go at other members when you are doing exactly the same thing, albeit a bit more sneakier but the same thing none the less.

You support everything the US does based on lies.

I don't think that pointing out some of Russia's recent military actions equate to blind support for the US. I am very disappointed in some recent US actions, but it doesn't mean that I will make excuses for Napoleon's little protege.

Fair enough was only saying you should treat others as you want to be treated, fire ahead.

Eh, he's just lying to himself. The US is just as bad as Russia when it comes to propaganda. Probably worse, actually, since it doesn't have as much mistrust.

No, you just never mention the US.
Like I have said many times before, you aren't even open to debate.

I bet you can't even say the US is equally or more so bad.
Maybe its against your protocol ( j/k )

Someone should act their age? Whats your twitter account? You have nothing to hide right?

Any way the mods can block this type of nonsense? He's repeated it 'x' amount of times already in the thread it's quite tiresome.

That was sincere... Why would I raise issue about the US when discussing Russia? You want to discuss the US pick a topic and go from there.

Putin is as bad as Obama. I happen to think Obama, like Putin, is dangerous and needs to go. They are both out of touch with reality, neither are leaders, both are prone to not reacting appropriately.

There are so many lies it is getting hard to fallow it all.

But the easiest way is to tell who is supporting who, that can be done by konwing what their goals are.

1. The US want Assad out.

- Because of this France were not able to apply NATO article 5 after the 13th terror attack. NATO article 5 would have been the end of USs interest of get ridd of Assad.

- The US state that Russia are bombing US supported rebels?
- Obama said he would speed up the training and founding of ISIL.
- The US have stated that ISIL is a terrorist Group.
- Obama will not tell us or the Russians who the moderate rebels are.

2. Russia want Assad to stay. Russia were hoping for NATO to apply article 5.

- Russia are bombing the Syrian rebels and ISIS/ISIL.

- Russia are bombing US interests in Syria.

Obvious derailing is obvious.

Anyhow, let's focus on the situation in Syria: BBC did put together a infograph, comparing airstrikes under the 'US-led coalition' against ISIS with the intensity of airstrikes in Iraq, Bosnia and WW2:

Spoiler alert: they do next to nothing.

A NATO country cant be blocked by another nato country from invoking article IV or V. France not invoking V had nothing to do with the US.

Unless you have verifiable evidence to the contrary and not a conspiracy theory.

I think it is a fighter jet who wants to cross the border of Turkey for some important purpose. Turkey didn't do something wrong, if the air jet tried to cross the border. Every region has some rules and definitely if Turkey tries to enter the Russian border then Russia does the same act as Turkey.

Then why is not article 5 Applied. France did ask for it?

EDIT.

I know you are searching now. France changed their mind and applied EU article 42,7 instead of NATO article 5.

Was Obama involved in that. You can search for that in stead.

What puzzles me the most is the story Turkey provide that does not add up.

According to Turkey they issued 10 warning within 5 minutes, the actual intrusion (if any) lasted 17 seconds

By looking at the map:

So if we do the math (3000 metres / 17 seconds) the Su 24 must have been flying at the speed of 110 mph which is laughable to say the least.

If we do the same math to find out the time for the same numbers for a rough speed of 400mph
Time = Distance / Speed .........(3000 metres / 600 km) = 5 Seconds Time.

The Turkish story simply does not add up.

I know it's totally off-topic, and that this event was a horrible one - but, every time I see the OP title, I have to correct the image that comes to mind of a turkey, you know, gobble gobble, shooting down a plane.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday, and your turkey doesn't go postal on you.
