China not afraid of war with USA - Homeland invasion and occupation now possible!

how is china going to fund this operation? how will they feed and supply their army? china has an overpopulation problem, that will be the death of them imo.

i like the idea of using these things to dig miles wide vertical tunnels under the ocean all around the US with giant camouflaged doors that open up and create multiple sinkholes that break ships apart as they spin in the water sinking them.

isn't a large % of china wetlands kinda like Louisiana? maybe if you had a couple Berthas over there in china you could erase parts of the country. then there are no nuclear disasters to look at and remember for 10,000 years... just the ocean and old maps

The Chinese leaders forgot to mention that most of their kids, and relatives are over here in the USA going to our universities. If they started sinking our pretty boats and planes, I wonder what would happen to their kids?

Of course maybe it's planned that Obama is looking for more ways to kill America.

The only thing China would accomplish by invading the US is killing a lot of Chinese troops. The United States would decimate any enemy force on its soil.

Besides those nukes aren't just for show. We've used them before.

Why does the US beleive that any country that has a foreign policy independent of Washington is a country to be feared and therfore invaded?

Americans seem to believe that their own salvation lies in conquering the rest of the world.

Everytime someone posts about the invasion of mainland US they never seen to have any explanation for what would be required to pull that off.

Troop movement, logistics, supply chains, ally to the north , water locked on the east and west coasts. 50% water locked in the south. Land mass size with a large civilian population that is partially armed. Military geographically disbursed with and established infrastructure.

I'm not saying the US can't be beaten in a war im saying the idea of another country successfully waging an invasion of the US is fantasy for geographic reasons alone.

This is usually followed up by people saying "foreign country nukes the US, ObamaSatan who will be president forever , does nothing and turns power off to military thus allowing the invading force to land without repercussions.. Which is as ridiculous as thinking their will be a conventional invasion of the US mainland.

I hope everyone realizes that the USA and the USA only can cause a scenario where China would go to war with us and it i EXACTLY this kind of paranoid thinking that creates the possibility and keeps us fighting all over the world.

Let's ask a few questions

1: which nation is preparing for more wars? The nation building massive cities and sky scrappers (China) when the reality is a few cruise missile strike sending a large tower down in a city of 24 Million would be an economic and civilian nightmare OR the nation building no new infra structure and decentralizing it's population from cities (USA)

2: Who is being aggressive the nation not truly occupying anywhere, or the nation with bases all over the world?

3: Which is the more decent expansion move building islands or occupying nation states?

Sorry they just aren't treating "China" like they "want" a war, yes they are becoming a "superpower" but it's way too fragile to be doing things like they are if they "intend" for there to be "incoming" attacks. 9-11 was an economic disaster for the USA, and it fell straight down (no theories being discussed here) BUT if it fell length wise and shot debris up the length of Manhattan there would barely be a USA right now, you don't pack in 24 Million people in Shanghi and build 3 of them and giant dams and all that stuff if your "intent" is to fight, obviously like this thread we are being paranoid and crazy.

As for an invasion... no one has yet to explain why exactly the Chinese would spend money for those supply lines to invade a huge territory? Nearly impossible to hold. Massively expensive to fuel the capacity while the nation needs fuel for power when realistically there is vast empty land around them.

Further... the USA has never started a war with North Korea, NK with what 6-9 Nukes because the economic toll id the USA lost Tokyo and Seoul would end us to a degree, they can't even hit us lol and we don't want that fight so people believe China wants to face 3600 Nukes? 2 hits, one in Beijing and one in Shanghi and China is over and almost ditto for us...

No, we are the obvious aggressors, I honestly think the Island building thing was Brilliant. It's a modern solution, claim territory out at sea and drill, it's pioneering vs occupation of others, they should get an award or something.

Truth as Americans we need to wake up, invading the USA is a death sentence our continent supplies everything we need, we don't need the oil domination to this degree anymore, we can live with not being no 1 and that is the only reason we trip.... fear of not being no 1

This is why a degree of socialism would be good, why we should leave China alone, there goals are economic dominance... we wish to maintain that NO 1 GDP... Which isn't a terrible thing but not if we have to be the new Hitler to do it...

Two ways that China could invade the US.

Put all of the tanks, troops, and supplies they would need into Mexico during the prewar peacetime

or

Shoot the entire invasion force over the ocean in ballistic missiles and rail gun containers.

Otherwise the invasion force will drown.

We'd see this coming and squash it before allowed to grow enough for an effective attack on our soil. To amass such a force on our southern border would be grounds for preemptive strike.

Why do people bring up the "gun" issue?

This isn't WW2 where Rifles could be effective to a degree, most of our homes are made of cheap materials these days, China builds 14 Million Cars a year lol, do you know how many drones they could field if somehow by some impossible means they could get past our Military and then we didn't nuke them... in a modern age in that again impossible scenario even if it came to be your guns wouldn't be worth spit but getting you food.

In a one on one fight the US is not the best in the world in armed conflict. they've struggled against jungle warfare, insurgencies and the Nazis gave them a good shellacking at times too.

Having oodles of tanks and battleships is good if the other guy cannot fight back, but when the other guy has cruise missiles, tanks, ships and technology the US hasn't understood yet their supremacy can quickly be eroded.

China and Russia - I believe - already have ways to disable aircraft carriers. They've never used it because they didn't want to let the cat out of the bag. China already has proven it can shoot down satellites.

The USA's main advantage is its isolation... if a no nuke war were to occur then the US would lose ALL its military bases outside of America

If war starts even if terrorist attacks start people will start asking for an end to US bases because they will feel that its attracting violence. It really depends on the situation and public opinion can be swayed. If things start getting hot there will be a big push by many countries to remain neutral and they wont want to get involved in a global war.
