Yes, people die every year from being trample during the hajj. Why is that so hard to believe?

the death toll is fairly low. 2+ Million people making the same pilgrimage and a few hundred dying is sad, but because it happens fairly often at this event, the "organizers" must have an "acceptable" count of deaths they expect each year.
