The Saudi government confirms the death toll in the recent Hajj tragedy has reached 4,173, media reports say.

Saudi Vice Minister of Health Hamad bin Muhammad Al-Duweila said on Tuesday that he has received a photo showing that 4,173 pilgrims were killed in the tragic incident in Minda, near the holy city of Mecca, according to some reports.

The Saudi Health Ministry asserted that heat exhaustion and suffocation are to blame for the pilgrims’ death, the reports said.

-- An High ranked Scientist in Iran Aerospace and Missile Program ....
-- and several more Officials who are missing ...

Also a lot of Iranians have been killed, current number is around 200+. This could also be a targeted attempt at Iranian Nationals. There just seems to be too much incompetence for it to be an accident. Current official Death toll is 1100. I personally know around 3 people who are missing and have not returned from Hajj..

This is tragic. My father did not like crowds. He said the mentality of crowd behavior is primitive and poor behavioral judgment. I agree. I can think of no crowd on Earth worth being a part of. Even the Korean and Greek food festivals do not serve up quality reasonable foods like a private restaurant. I don't do crowds. I will be the person walking the other direction.
