Back at the barracks the rules all sound great an noble.

On the battlefield (against the Geneva convention BTW) when all I have is a .50 cal and the enemy ate advancing I am spraying them!!!

I meant "aiming for their canteens!!"

For you civies( it is technically against the Geneva convention to use a .50 cal on personnel, but wholly acceptable to use on any military equipment, hence me aiming for their canteens, or uniforms, or ammo or whatever, and yes it matters in a military court!!)

Also the ROE RUF ( for you civies "rules of engagement" "rules on use of force") that places our guys at extreme odds against foes with no rules.

Sure we get to claim to be "the better people", I would rather be alive than dead and better though.

No problem, that's totally fine, you get the job done. I'm not suggesting diluting the ability needed for a person to get that job done. Ability comes down to will, determination, bravery and a whole lot more. Sexuality, gender or whether a straight guy likes porn mags isn't in the equation. If they have the ability to get the job done, you need to support the people on your side.

Well I never claimed to understand or soldiers life or the art of war; I did however have an opinion that you don't have to agree with, just like I don't have to agree with yours. I also agree that soldiers should have a say in how they conduct their business and their culture, but everything has checks and balances; including the military. So, by saying my opinion on the military shouldn't count because I haven't claimed to have serve is just as ridiculous as saying military members should wear cute and cuddly gear.

Man you can hardly have a engineer battalion near a infantry battalion without some unwanted pregnancy. I can imagine what happens when they make infantry co ed. Tell you what though I welcome it that'd be one hell of a basic training for the boys. It'd be fun.l

lol, yeah pregnancy happens, part of life, they should be taking the pill to be fair.

It's easy to dis the idea of women serving up along side men. Some say its pandering to the pc brigade and it will damage effectiveness of units but times are changing. Historically women have been good warriors, just as good as men.
