Btw one way of controling or manipulating peoples thoughts is through Propaganda. And I know I mention it all the time, but it's true. And propaganda can be good, just see what Simon and William have done with this place!

Indeed propaganda is a huge factor in ones thoughts concerning various issues. People in general are so busy working (err slaving for the governments economy because they need the government as their mother figure.. (everybody loves milk..)) that they usually only pay attention to the propaganda which is secreted through television and newspapers mainly. Unfortunately it seems like the government has absolute control over these forms of media..

People are programmed with "knee-jerks" throughout their lives, and therefore will only accept that which a source such as the government tells them. These "knee-jerks" need to be broken down if America is to be reborn as it began.

Bush deals in realpolitik. Sure in a perfect world everyone would get along and there would be no wars. However this simply isn't possible in todays climate.
Bush by setting the course he has has enabled a chance for real longterm change for the better in a very dangerous period of history.
Sure it is the right for people to protest but all, most people do is sprout slogans. There is much of this on this thread from both sides, with no real understanding of the issues.

There was nothing decent about sending thousands of boys to vietnam to die in a war our govornment knew they werent going to win. They killed and maimed countless American troops.for what? Nothing. Just sent them there to die.

If you can love this sickening govornment that we sustain youre mad. Joining the military now means you are joining up to fight for political spats and shady motives. Just ask the survivors of the USS liberty how they feel about thier govornment.

What needs to be seperated here is country from govornment. Loving the ideal of America is different from devotion to the govornment. The govornment is not America, it is a parasitic entity thats killing its host. America is not a bunch of old washed up christ-insane farts in Washington selling your country out to the highest bidder. It is an ideal that trancendeds even the dirt you live on. That Ideal is worth dying for. The regime isnt.

As to seperation of Church and state, there more to it than mentioned. One of the basic rights is freedom of religion. That means EVERYONES religion, twinkies. Not just yours. The Muslims, Buddists, even Satanists have a right to religious belief and practice within civil limits. This is NOT a Christian ideal. The christian Ideal is that everyone follow and worship thier old egotistical Hebrew tribal god, anyone who doesnt must either die or get persecuted. Freedom of speech is not a christian ideal. Nor is the right to bear arms. These are all SECULAR ideals. Those christians who think its thier ideal should re read thier own bible. And the founding fathers owned slaves. Does this mean slavery is Christian too?

You cant die for something thats alreadt dying. America is dying. Theocratic misled insanity pervades.

The only thing left worth dying for is American isolation and revolution. Anything else would be serving the enemies of the old American ideal.

Well people, Jedi is repected for his views. At least by me, something the old members here and a few of the newer ones have seen that I don't care what your opinion is, or how you think. I respect everyones views, until that respect is lost. After that I'm not so playful anymore. I don't believe I have ever gotten on anyones bad side, but know it's inevitable. After all, there will be people who are not comfortable with those who have the warrior spirit. Perhaps we can get back on track, and those of us who will stand with their country thick and thin know who to count on. When the time comes, I know who is going to be standing, and whos not.

Well its true! People can have sex in public, masturbate in public. People can use feces as art. Porn has gotten to graphic over the years. People can be traitotors and get away with it. People can burn flags, and get away with it. People can support the enemy and get away with it. Graphic vilolence and sex is rampant in the media. Look at Eminem, and wrestling. Wrestling used to be good and I enjoyed it in the late 80s early 90s until Vince made it horrible.
