Do you believe Japan doesn't export to the middle east very strange comment

Japan? Why because it's a Japanese word? It's a global company with manufacturing plants the world over. American and western business make up its existence. Is a publicly traded company with a stock ticker (ADS) TM.

They did, they all had a vote and decided to join the Russian Federation. Nothing illegal about that. When your legitimate Government gets turfed out by the CIA and replaced with puppets, people get upset and do these strange things.

It is called democracy. You vote, you leave the control of the puppets.

The US Govt only like democracy when their people get in.

P

There was nothing democratic about it all. Foreign troops pour out of the base in Sevastopol and take over the entire peninsula. A "vote" is then hastily held a few weeks later and, in typical despotic fashion, a miraculous 96% vote to go to Russia. It wasn't recognised by anywhere in the world apart from Russia and many discrepancies were found in the vote.

All this despite there being no previous major push to be "part of Russia" in the first place...

Good on Crimea for not wanting to be with those murdering bastards in the west of Ukraine

Just like Georgia before they decided to do some ethnic cleansing, while the west turns a blind eye

The same process is on its way right now in Donetsk and Luhansk. Independence documents signs 'on the knee' and then election about join to Russia. Russia knew what to do, EU do not. Putin plays "at the edge" of international law. International law has nothing to moral principles. Putin uses the sittuation. EU is too divided to focus on One direct political way.

If Putin is supplying this system I don't see why as it would require risking exposure at a cost of firepower. The 9A52-2 is already available in Ukraine.

Here's the low-down on the system.
www.military-today.com...

The 9A52-4 multiple launch rocket system may be Russia's answer to the US HIMARS. The 9A52-4 was first revealed in 2007. It is a lightweight and universal version of the Smerch MLRS. The 9A52-4 is more strategically and tactically mobile, but mobility comes at a cost of reduced firepower. This artillery rocket system is aimed both at the Russian Army and export customers.

It apparently is available for export so i doubt it's exclusively Russian in regards to availability. As you know Russia will sell just about anything to someone with the cash so it's possible one of those pro-Russian oligarchs everyone goes on about bought some on the open/grey market. It's a moot point really until someone posts pics of the -4 in DPR territory.

The vote was a farce. No international observers, non-citizens allowed to vote, pre-marked ballots, ID confiscation to prevent voting and a best guess turnout of 36%.

They did nothing of the sort and you may want to read up on the prelude leading up to that conflict, with Russia establishing official relations with the breakaway republics (who were backed by Russia anyway), Russia moving "non peacekeeping" forces, shooting down Georgian aircraft, invaded Georgian airspace with fighter jets, supplied rebel forces with weaponry, attacking Georgian Police with IED's and finally, on the 1st August 2008, Ossetian rebels shelled Georgian forces, which led to the attempt by the Georgian military to intervene.

No "ethnic cleansing" took place in the slightest and this was just a poor excuse for Russia to intervene - the same sad excuse they have used in Ukraine.

It was more for those who consistently deny Russia is involved in Ukraine. Those who constantly demand proof of the obvious.

This is their proof.

No, India does not have the 9A52-4 (the uprated BM-30 Smerch) as it has only just been introduced to the Russian Army. The Indians use the earlier version of the BM-30, also known as 9A52-2T.

It's like saying Saudi has the M1A3 Abrams variant, because well they have the M1A2 and it's just an upgrade, right?

I know most Russian haters won't be bothered to watch this video, and people will complain that it is from RT. But it is an interesting video none the less. A man with Ukrainian roots heads to Crimea to see how the people are 'suffering' under Russian rule, and if they really wanted to be a part of Russia again or not. I say let the Crimeans have their say.

youtu.be...

It seems they DO want to be a part of Russia, and that is democracy at its best. The people getting to say who they want to rule over them.

The Indians operate the BM-30 Smerch, specifically the 9A52-2T variant

Well that seals it then, we can all just pack up and go home, that YouTube video (made by the Russian TV Station RT) is cast iron proof Putin is a hero and the people of Crimea weren't strong armed at all...

While we're at it, I have conclusive proof of Aliens too - right here

Another Xcathdra thread pushing US foreign policy on ATS blaming Russia for everything wrong in Ukraine and that US is the nice guys and and as always avoiding the fact that NGO:s sponsored by US was the ones who created the puppet state.

I wonder how any US citizen would feel if the Chinese thru NGO:s created an puppet government in the US that implemented systems that would remove their freedoms and belongings. And when states within US would not allow this and want to leave, US the puppet regime would start a civil war to keep the states in US, against the will of the people in those states.

People have locally a right to choose by majority where they want to belong and what they want to belong to. US have no right to intervene against peoples choice just because it is against their agenda.

Really? I don't see him mentioning U.S foreign policy at all in this thread. Looks to me like the guy is just presenting facts. But as usual, they will be denied despite being plainly obvious. You should be thankful for members like Xcathdra. Without him the Putinistas wouldn't have anything interesting to talk about. I would imagine it would get boring pretty quickly if you couldn't sit around patting each other on the back in threads like these. Heck, some of them might even be out of work!

Unless they're pro-EU Ukrainians, of course. Then they are nazis, right?

But Russia does? Funny how that works.
