Very telling that you automatically made it a black versus white issue which reveals your brain's programming by media outlets.

If a black cop shot a black man and killed him it would be a non-issue. Blacks attack and commit crimes against other races all of the time. Why do we dismiss, and excuse, this behavior? One day the excuses will run out.

Ever hear of the knockout game? I'm thankful for police and authority. The world needs order if you want a civilized culture.

Man a few hours of sleep and strong coffee helps after last night.

I wouldn't worry too much about the shooter. He was long gone before media ever showed up. News generally does follow police investigations up to homes of persons of interest in a shooting. He definitely qualifies based on witness accounts. He should have been in custody under initial charges anyway with additional charges pending a full investigation. Then nobody would be looking for him.

I'm sure he is safe and being "protected" by his paramilitary buddies... err fellow officers.

I would worry far more for this community dealing with militarized police, armored vehicles and tear gas being deployed against protestors; government and police lies about tactics that would be employed after curfew with peaceful protests; and the violence that was instigated by police moving in aggressively and with actions that were a direct contradiction to their established rules of engagement, they themselves set.

Media being corralled like sheep and unable to serve as the watchdog, should not be tolerated. Ever. These reporters are in a police instigated combat zone and need to gear up with masks and body armor and put the public back on public streets.

A few "not local" looters were allowed to loot as police stood by passively watching Friday. Community members defended the businesses themselves.

Declaring a state of emergency and restricting the right to assemble is without merit. This entire nightmare has been purposefully orchestrated to "justify" shooting an unarmed teen, to "justify" the use of military grade weapons on domestic soil, and to "justify" martial law in a society that was established as a free and representative form of governance for all. Imho

Get the freakin military off the street. The second autopsy approved by Holder today will also help.

Lastly, when police, local and state officials look in the eye of the camera live on tv and tell you they won't use heavy armor and tear gas...they are lying. A lot of people stand to make a lot of money if maintaining a paramilitary police force, bedazzled better than our soldiers were in Baghdad, can be made standard issue to America's police forces, big and small.

This may be happening in Missouri, but it is a struggle for what kind of "police" state we are willing to live under and within.

ATS, social media, Tim Pool and many others on scene maintained a crowd-sourced vigil on police action last night. That is essential if we want to maintain a free society. It was an honor to work in any small way to help spread truth.

This sounds about right for our country. People can monitor it or be part of it and fix it. People are generally of the first group.

I understand though because trying to change it does seem to be impossible without everyone on the same page at the dame time. The politicians, for instance, rely on that to keep office and business as usual.

IMO, It's been so long since people could actually effect a change that people no longer know how to make a change happen. It's going to have to be much more extreme for those in power to listen and then change.

People actually don't care. To much work.

But they will line up all night to buy a new iPhone or save $2 on Black Friday at Walmart. Why are the same people reelected over and over. Other people say, "I don't vote any longer". And they think that is a solution.

Get the majority in a city to tell the mayor and council that the military police equipment and certain officers go or they are out of office. And when it doesn't happen, they are out of office. But the people won't band together and then back up the talk with action.

Until more drastic action is taken, and by all, it will remain. They can kill and lock up a few, but not everyone. Those things cannot be spoken of here.

People would rather make sure a stupid youtube video goes viral instead of working toward a change.

I always thought PTB were using Nineteen-Eighty-Four as a how to guide, but I thought I wouldn't live long enough to see it reach the end. Now with the near constant state of war, The events in Ferguson and the MSM outright lies about what is really going on there it seems I may have to rethink that position.

As strange as it probably seems to most, maybe they will be the ones that set real change in motion. That is if people wake up and realize it is coming their way despite denial.

This nation was not created to give precedence and power to one faction--the haves--over another--the have nots. It does not matter if a decided portion of the population of Ferguson can no longer afford to pay taxes because the haves took their manufacturing interests and shipped them out of this country to leave them jobless and impoverished. It does not matter one bit because in this country, all factions are protected under the same rights and given the same liberties without regard to their economic status. What you're saying goes against the very fabric of what the Founders of this nation wanted.

You're getting a level of detail that would be found in a supplemental report from the police at the scene...from where exactly?

I appreciate the way we all guess and leap to conclusions like an Olympic sport...but you're not even suggesting what you're saying there. You're stating it as if you just wrote a sworn report on it yourself.

Can you help me understand where that level of detail with the confidence to tell others they are wrong due to it, comes from? I'm really having an exceptionally hard time...when the cops who were a part of it likely can't state what you have with confidence anywhere near it.

Peaceful protesting and boycotting are the classic ways of getting your point accross.

Clearly there are people that care. They simply need to change tactics. They need to file the paperwork and protest in front of the mayors office.

Have you read how many times I typed they need to hold sit ins? How many times I typed they need to show the media beyond a doubt they are peaceful protesters.

This isn't what they're doing. What we saw last night, they are being nudged into doing things that look bad on purpose. This thread had a poster saying they them self experienced this attempt in other situations.

Its not the Civil Rights era. The technology to be horrible to has made it easier to hurt a person. These people are also not trained to do what they are trying to do.

So again, i want to be a professional protester!! I would make certain there could be no mistake that the actions were in the right. I would make certain every person there understood what the point was in being there and how to go about doing it. Watch some of these streams, it was a party.
