Be sure to check back on the edit I made to my post. I hadn't considered how fast this is moving, but it'll probably be missed.

I posted in just the time it took to hit reply and type one word ..to come back and edit afterward, in reporting the gunshots when I heard them live on the Livestream from the Media pen up the street. So.. maybe it helps in sequence comparing to other things?

We will see how tough they get in the correction given that they lauded police all night for not using tear gas as promised...when they did, and tanks and snipers and.... must have been Stockholm Syndrome induced by the reporter pen.

2:04:50 or so for the first canister fired and then 2:07:30 or so for the burst of gunfire.

Kinda backward on the sequence there if the whole thing was initiated over a shooting.

CNN is now reporting it had more to do with protecting the BBQ place.....Can you confirm when that raid was done?

Yep, 2:04:50 is about right for the first canister. 2:10:35: Then Tim says "the police are coming up from behind the group" with sirens. 2:10:47 for definite gunshots.

Psychic police? They were moving up from behind before the gunshots.

Thanks for posting, I just reheard what I barley caught before and it was the part where is repeating a convo with cortez where cortez tells him "you see that guy right there? You can tell by the way he is walking that he as a gun"paraphrased by me a little, comment is at the 1:31:20 or so.
So vice didn't see the man in the street with the gun like I had maybe thought before.
Strange how twitter knew about the intel of the armed man in the bbq joint. Think that would be something the cops would want getting out that they knew.

I've been as work and have not been able to do more than follow a bit and not being able to stream the feeds and have had to rely on your updates.

I am sick to my stomach over this entire fiasco. Kept expecting to see someone report the troops shouting, "you are not being fired upon, repeat you are not being fired upon."

If I recall correctly, Tim said it wasn't for certain but he was being careful because of that. Still had a bullet whiz near him though anyways. You can hear it whiz by on the raw footage.

If you'd like to see that from a whole different perspective...the feed I had been watching had it's recording up as well. They were directly behind the cops putting on gas masks before they started shooting canisters, and right beside the armored vehicles doing it.

First canister goes out at 11:38 and the first burst of gunfire starts at 17:23. The sound from that side is loud as ever.

Anyway, can't have too many directions to view the same event, eh?

I have few friends overseas from an app I behave like a complete fool on. ( I hope you appreciate my good behavior) None of them knew about this.

Ya i had that one going on my phone next to my laptop as I had vice and Jones going. Was great having two vantage points. Do you recall seeing a crown vic come screaming around the corner for the left hand side of the screen? And if so, in what relation to the shots fired? Cause the chief talked about a cruiser getting shot and that was the only one I recall seeing.

Would somebody be able to give me a rundown of what has happened the last few hours please?
