Johnson was interviewed by Nancy Grace tonight. He said he's tried to give a statement to police several times, and was sent away. Johnson's Lawyer said the same thing.
Police version is, they have been trying to get a statement from Johnson, and he won't come in to give one.
Another situation of he said, she said...

Hardly. That is a poorly trained LEO's bread and butter. Instead of giving chase they fire their weapon out of pure rage and laziness.
I have seem a video of a cop gunning a man down as he descended a staircase in an attempt to escape. The cop was at least 25 ft away and shot him in in the back. Then the man was filmed at the bottom of the staircase bleeding out for about 6 minutes before a single cop even made it down there.
It was on a boardwalk somewhere - I am sure some members know the video in question.
It happens. Enjoy your ignorance.

I just saw this little tidbit here too.
Ferguson police haven't yet interviewed Dorian Johnson, the friend who was with Michael Brown.
Lawyer: Police Haven't Talked To Michael Brown Shooting Witness
What makes me think they aren't exactly looking too hard for the truth in this investigation so far???

What I'm getting the feeling of, this is a good old boy type police dept. They are used to doing what they want, when they want. No one ever calls them on the carpet for anything. They cover each others' butts when needed.
This got out of their control in a million ways they never expected. Now we have them under a microscope, and they don't know what to do, but keep telling the same story over and over.
It will take a power higher than them, to do this investigating. Having them investigate it is no different that asking Eric Holder to investigate himself.

LOL at Eric Holder investigating himself. You truly hit the big one, there, Des….
I think it's a case of what I described previously in the thread: you have a predominantly african american community now, which in the last twenty years has changed. Ferguson used to be a predominantly upper class white community.
It's changed a great deal, and quickly. The city council has remained predominantly white, and therefore, not representative of the populus. This always spells disaster in a community. We see that over and over. It was even the situation in Watts back in the sixties. Quick and ethnic diverse change, not represented in civil leadership….
just sayin

So those of you who feel the police are in the right on this - I have a simple question for you.
Why the media lockout? Why the Morse code on scanners? Why the hell is twitter attempting to censor feeds? Why do we see no MSM coverage of this?
Id love an intelligent answer which makes some sense from one of you. But there is not one.
We are witnessing the police state and media censorship come to fruition before our very eyes.
The general public will never even know these riots happened. Those of you supporting this make me sick.

So you've got heavily armed and angry white conservative types who are fed up with the government and the status quo.
Then you've got angry black types who are fed up with the government and the status quo, and evidently white people in general.
If only both sides could stop being so damn racist and stupid we could get together and actually become a force to be reckoned with, instead of a force to be annoyed by.
The enemy isn't black or white, its BLUE (or gray, the federal gov is the real issue)
