I just saw this little tidbit here too.

Ferguson police haven't yet interviewed Dorian Johnson, the friend who was with Michael Brown.

Lawyer: Police Haven't Talked To Michael Brown Shooting Witness

What makes me think they aren't exactly looking too hard for the truth in this investigation so far???

Openly armed? not on your life. What you are talking about is the "Armed Response Teams", these guys carry weapons in a locked safe in the boot (trunk if you are from the USA) of their vehicles, they do not openly have holstered weapons on their bodies. I can accept that we require armed response teams ....... but to openly wear a gun around your waist, no thanks. Looks like it will be a familiar sight in the non too distant future, and for protection, the mentals in this country will have to follow suit ......... guess where that leads us to

Johnson was interviewed by Nancy Grace tonight. He said he's tried to give a statement to police several times, and was sent away. Johnson's Lawyer said the same thing.

Police version is, they have been trying to get a statement from Johnson, and he won't come in to give one.

Another situation of he said, she said...

Clever, for why would anyone give them a statement, and trust them with that, anyway, after the following?
That speaks for itself, IMO, and probably many others, too. And the officialdom knows that. So, damage control, and say we've tried to get his statement, and he won't give it. This is old hat; we've all seen it. It's damaging, just from that perspective. They are glossing and over glossing. I wish I could gloss over what the law enforcement officer should have done…..

I've tried to look at it that way. It is a sad day, for all.
I am not comforted by the fact I am not his mother, and sad for all involved that this is what we now face.
And I have to say, yet again, I understand the community outrage….no matter what community, and where.

Hardly. That is a poorly trained LEO's bread and butter. Instead of giving chase they fire their weapon out of pure rage and laziness.

I have seem a video of a cop gunning a man down as he descended a staircase in an attempt to escape. The cop was at least 25 ft away and shot him in in the back. Then the man was filmed at the bottom of the staircase bleeding out for about 6 minutes before a single cop even made it down there.

It was on a boardwalk somewhere - I am sure some members know the video in question.

It happens. Enjoy your ignorance.

That man in question was accused of stealing something from Walmart, no investigation and no proof but the guy ran and was a suspected thief. After the officers shot him they left him to die deliberately withholding life saving aid.

What I'm getting the feeling of, this is a good old boy type police dept. They are used to doing what they want, when they want. No one ever calls them on the carpet for anything. They cover each others' butts when needed.

This got out of their control in a million ways they never expected. Now we have them under a microscope, and they don't know what to do, but keep telling the same story over and over.

It will take a power higher than them, to do this investigating. Having them investigate it is no different that asking Eric Holder to investigate himself.

Funny how those stories just never seem to match up, huh?!?

I tell ya what. If anyone has trouble seeing what's going on here, they are just willfully blind. Not one small piece of credibility can be found on the officers side. But that isn't even the worst part, because bad information can happen, I'll give up that much. But what we are seeing is just plain out right intentional lying about a murder.

If it was one out of a million good cop stories maybe it wouldn't be so bad, but I have posted about multiple stories recently of this same thing happening. From SWAT charging the wrong house and shooting innocent people and/or pets without even a "sorry". Or the kid who was strapped to a chair with a "spit bag" over his head, but first sprayed with pepper spray and left like that while he suffered for an hour then died. His was being held on a non violent Misdomeanor charge on top of it.

LOL at Eric Holder investigating himself. You truly hit the big one, there, Des….

I think it's a case of what I described previously in the thread: you have a predominantly african american community now, which in the last twenty years has changed. Ferguson used to be a predominantly upper class white community.
It's changed a great deal, and quickly. The city council has remained predominantly white, and therefore, not representative of the populus. This always spells disaster in a community. We see that over and over. It was even the situation in Watts back in the sixties. Quick and ethnic diverse change, not represented in civil leadership….

So you've got heavily armed and angry white conservative types who are fed up with the government and the status quo.

Then you've got angry black types who are fed up with the government and the status quo, and evidently white people in general.

If only both sides could stop being so damn racist and stupid we could get together and actually become a force to be reckoned with, instead of a force to be annoyed by.

Off topic a bit but a rant of mine so I'll say it anyway.

Notice the reporting on these riots by RT. Notice the lack of coverage by US MSM outlets even happening right here in MO.

Think back to the nonstop coverage if the Kiev riots but US media. Think back to the lack of and misrepresented coverage of the Kiev riots by RT.

And some think one is propoganda while the other is not..

We will get MSM coverage of this only when TPTB AR ready for it to spread...

So those of you who feel the police are in the right on this - I have a simple question for you.

Why the media lockout? Why the Morse code on scanners? Why the hell is twitter attempting to censor feeds? Why do we see no MSM coverage of this?

Id love an intelligent answer which makes some sense from one of you. But there is not one.

We are witnessing the police state and media censorship come to fruition before our very eyes.

The general public will never even know these riots happened. Those of you supporting this make me sick.

The simple answer is....................

NYPD Paid Nearly $1 Billion To Settle Lawsuits

You so nailed that. James

But unfortunately, we nurse our harmed egos and real pains in this world the way we do…and no one helps us do that. We do that alone, everyday and every night. The enemy divides and concquers us at will, every day, just the way we are seeing…….despite our intellect and understanding the bigger picture, it still doesn't save our children or us, no matter the truth of what you speak.

And this, IMO, is the saddest part of all of it: for i could raise my son, and you could raise yours with all that knowledge and one day they may meet, one a law enforcement officer, and one a student, and the same thing would still happen, for the miasma we live in which you have just described, for all our knowledge aforethought and care taken….

Are you suggesting black leaders in the community would somehow push through laws violating your constitutional rights?

If you are not suggesting that, then your comparison makes absolutely no sense.

no, I do not understand how you get to B from that A I was saying here. So, no, that's not what I am saying. Sharia Law is a totally different subject, and I would ask you to describe to me how you reached that conclusion from what I wrote above….

The African American argument posted by Tetra, using words like predominately ....... because a community is NOW predominately one creed means the natives should obey or follow the rules of the PREDOMINATE. In my case that means i should follow Sharia and the Council should disband and Muslims be elected as they are now the PREDOMINATE majority..... nah, i dont think so
