Clean up our mess? How?

It was a mess long before we went over there. It will be a mess if we stay out of it. No matter how you slice it ... the people in Persia and the Middle East all hate each other and religion is at the root of a lot of their hate. That's why we should just let them pound the snot out of each other and figure it out for themselves.

Persia(Iran) hasn't attacked anyone in over 200 years and they were attacked by Iraq at the behest of America.

please update your little book,,

Unless he's not considered Persian??

nice try.

When did Iran attack? Must have missed it, is his name Iran? Nice try

Why does religion seem more and more like something you have to take away from a child because they aren't responsible enough to handle it? The longer I'm alive the more I'm convinced that this world would be a better place if we just banned religion of all types. The extremes just keep getting more extreme and nobody will do anything about it. We now have ISIS running around killing Christians just for being Christian, we have Saudi Arabia deporting people for eating in public during Ramadan (sp?) Westboro keeps douching it up like they always have. Can the silent majority of this planet just finally rise up and smite all these morons ruining it for the rest of us? Include the Politicians in the US and they're Religion of Money and Power. I'm only 33 and in my short time on this planet they're turning it into a $#ithole.

Why? because the ones who usually do that sort of thing are the same ones who spent all their time and energy electing Obama. That's why.

Well I know that the Middle East and its people have a history of war the predates the Dark Ages, and the Dark Ages long predate America. So, yeah, the region has a history of instability and it predates America. That's not too hard for even poor little old me to figure out. The romans had trouble with it.

And how would they do that !?

So you freely admit that there are more bad apples than good ones?

imo the fact that the good apples cannot control the bad ones is weak and an embarrassment to the rest of the world.

How did you get that ? Lol
I never said that. Find me a quote where I said that.
Demagogue.

I'm not the one engaging in ad hominem.

So far I'm simplistic and drinking the Kool-Aid and too stupid to engage in a discussion with someone who has a history degree.

You stated pretty much that 500 -gazillion muslims cannot control their violent counterparts because they're ( the wackos) armed.

I call b.s

They fail to reign in their own, that = fail.

fail is fail.

Should we just let it all Burn ?

We still have no understanding of their Culture and Customs.

We and our allies have lost many great people for Cities we just gave back.

If the Iraqis will not defend their own Nation...Why should We ?

Every single time we do anything it blows up in our face.

I know that ISIS will not stop. I know they eventually will head for Israel.

That is what I think we should prepare for.

I realize that some think we should not even defend Israel.

As much as I hate war. It seems the only conclusion I can arrive at is...

Let It Burn...

the 'let it burn' line of thinking is totally absurd...

the ISIS-ISIL Army...(under the control of Arabia) is not singularly targeting Israel ~aka: 'the Little Satan' -
the Chaos/Mahdi Army will eventually join with the Sunni radicals to construct a Caliphate on the Arabian Peninsula

and have as their target the 'Great Satan'= the USA as the main target of this Jihad madness...and their combined might & influence (sunni+shia eschatology) will give/get the Caliphate the 'Islamic Bomb' from either Pakistan-India- or Iran with which to punish the USA 'Satan'
[a Nuke being used is a certainty]

I expect Obama to side with the Muslims, the Caliphate and will actively seek to be the equivalent of a member of the board-of-directors for this Islamic State=Caliphate as he leaves office in 2016

By that logic the blood of all the innocent dead civilians in the ME is on the hands of western citizens because we are too weak to rein in the governments that started the illegal war....

fail is fail

Couldn't have put it better myself.

"rein in the governments that started the illegal war.... ",, u mean the war on Christians? oh wait thats right there are none left,,

Care to show where a clandestine war was waged, without there having recently been a war, or been plans for the immediate future, to actually go all out?

I do not believe for a second you will find any such data.

The crucial thing, is to create a situation where no one has any information on the clandestine effort, other than the person who started it, and the persons who do the dirty work. No one seems to have even tried that approach. Regardless of the difficulties, clandestine operations are the only measure which stands a chance of actually removing insurgents without GUARANTEEING the creation of more insurgents than it removes.

Straight up. Drones kill mothers and children, and invasion creates anger even amongst those who have not a radical bone in their body. Hell, I disagree with everything my government, and the weirdest elements in it do, and I would not fight on foreign soil on their say so for any reason. But if my nation was invaded, my town devastated by shells, I would not give a damn why it was happening, I would just be all about shredding as many invaders as I could in the shortest possible time.

Putting clandestine operators on the ground, with the intention of them becoming part of local culture, rather than in opposition to it, and none the less destroying terrorists at every opportunity, is going to be a far more effective measure than sending soldiers and airstrikes against an enemy that cannot be easily discerned from either the terrain or non combatants.

Continuing with boots on the ground, or airstrikes and drones, is NOT an answer to anything.

So because they are Muslim they are not classified as a civilian? You strike me as the type that thinks it's ok to bomb them because they are brown people, they aren't important enough in your eyes to called civilians because they are different. You my good sir are a bigot and please don't reply to me as I cannot stand your type.

You literally quoted, almost word for word Brigitte Gabriel, a known demagogue.
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to laugh or cry at your blatant attempts of misinformation.

Do you pay her royalties or you're just a thief of thoughts ?

Look, this is my point.

After 911 I was on Samsams side on this. Give them the benefit of the doubt and don't judge Religions on the acts of a few wack jobs.
After the Iraq war same thing, it's kinda our fault for intervening,

But today you should know that even the liberal factions among us are getting SICK AND TIRED of these A holes and have run out of patience.
IF they cannot control the violence, if they live to HATE one another, if they DARE F5^%^ with us (yah we get the threats on youtube daily) -Then they will get NO sympathy.

The honeymoon is over. Get the message out. Deal with your violent religious fanatical wack-jobs or your words and messages of understanding and peace are as worthless as those animals who pack the Iraq ditches with the bodies of the dead.

She is absolutely correct have you seen the map ISIS wants to carve out they dont hand out flowers they behead people, they crucify people, they chop women in half and hang the bits off trees its all on you tube if you care to look, now there are moderate muslim places like Jordan and Malaysia where there is a separation of church and state but your apologist nonsense no longer works on me there are 22 world conflicts currently in motion 21 include Muslims as protaganists thats 95 percent I find that STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT.
