The Middle East...Is it time to Let it Burn ?

Should we just let it all Burn ?

We still have no understanding of their Culture and Customs.

We and our allies have lost many great people for Cities we just gave back.

If the Iraqis will not defend their own Nation...Why should We ?

Every single time we do anything it blows up in our face.

I know that ISIS will not stop. I know they eventually will head for Israel.

That is what I think we should prepare for.

I realize that some think we should not even defend Israel.

As much as I hate war. It seems the only conclusion I can arrive at is...

when the western world kept their hands off of it

The problem with letting fires burn, they will grow and consume everything they can till there is nothing left or somebody/thing stops them.
This fire also has a lot of fuel, fuel that will cause the fire to rage globally

This is an ecological disaster, political and financial problem, and I am sure I have missed out on other things as well

Iraq as a country was invented by the League of Nations in 1920 and placed under British rule. You assume that there is a country for these people to fight for. We in the west made Iraq up. It has nothing to do with "letting it burn" because we "have no understanding of their Culture and Customs." There's a religious civil war taking place in Iraq. Many of us would like to believe that we can save the innocent and spare the helpless in conflicts like this but history has proven otherwise time and time again.

Seldom do our military interventions accomplish anything good for anyone yet we keep pretending that we're doing somebody an f'ing favor. Our intervention in the middle east has done nothing but create more animosity and ultimately terrorism.

No sadly I dont have an answer, letting it burn or treat the ME like an African nation that has little value?

Its a tough question, the part that annoys me most is it seems everybody who goes in to help only help for self gain.

First of all, if there's instability it is mainly because of the US , I said mainly.
