Economic Collapse Looming in #Ukraine - Brief Sketches (May 31) from Internet Sources.
We are receiving reports ...
(Original: gwinplane.livejournal.com...)
An overview of the situation in the central region [of Ukraine] - Cherkassy Oblast. We have the real makings of a crisis, a hunger revolt is brewing here. There are no jobs, there is no money, no trading happening ...
My girlfriend trades at the bazaar. She earns 50 hryvna a day, working from 7 in the morning until 8 in the evening. Before, she could hustle up some money - she could make a hundred or two.
These days, there is no haggling. People are thinking about running, not about stocking up with food. 50 hryvna a day - that's about a pack of cigarettes, bus fare both ways and a loaf of bread to take home. Her husband lost his job, they have a little kid ... The kid needs at least a sausage a day [to survive].
Even at a time like this, wartime, time of poverty, with minimal spending, they need to buy at least a pair of cheapest sandals for the kid [and they can't].
People from military bases in Uman and in the neighbouring region - Rossoshki (they have the largest ammo depot around here) - are refusing to go to fight in the war.
Exactly how they said it: "if I am called up to go and fight, I will enter my resignation - I could not #ing care if I have a year left till retirement." They really do not understand what it is they would be fighting for.
People are starting to understand that TV is lying to them. They are buying satellite dishes. Watching Russian channels!!! They are starting to go a little crazy over this ...
The separatist-held east Ukrainian town of Antratsyt is turning into a hub for fighters and arms from neighbouring Russia, one frightened resident has told BBC News.
Like the smokeless anthracite coal from which it takes its name, the town appears to be quietly burning with martial activity.
Cossack militiamen from the neighbouring Russian region of Rostov and fighters from the North Caucasus wander its streets, Oxana (not her real name) said by telephone.
Armoured troop carriers pass through the streets, four, five, six at a time, according to the woman, who is in her mid-thirties.
A friend in a block of flats closer to the centre, she says, witnessed helicopters hovering over the town centre at about 04:00 a few days earlier.
After they left, a "huge" quantity of military hardware lay on the square, including what appeared to be heavy machine-guns and anti-aircraft cannon, destination unknown.

So what is Putin's plan now. Is he going to leave the people in Eastern Regions on their own or come up with some sort of help. Atleast he should arm them well with weapons that can change the variables easily against Kiev.
There is constant shelling and military assaults going on in eastern region and common everyday civilians are being targeted and victimized. That is immoral on part of both Kiev and Moscow.
- America will try by all means to aggravate the crisis in Ukraine, in order to weaken Russia and put the whole European market under its sway before it needs to shut down its printing presses.
- The Kremlin will try to translate the crisis in Ukraine from the acute to the chronic phase - civil war plus sluggish negotiations amid the economic collapse of Ukraine. At the same time, the Kremlin will use the time to create favorable conditions for the transition to the sharp confrontation with the United States - from the work on untethering from the dollar with China, Iran, Qatar, creating the EEC etc.
- Complete end to the crisis in December 2014, possibly earlier if U.S. desists from trying to exacerbate the hostilities.
- And if it does not desist? - Then ... a big war ... a war for resources, because shale "boom" was an ordinary bubble.

Id say yes and there moving the sepratists out of the way and taking over but Chechens arent known for subtlety. And this is going to lose them harts and minds of the locals Many Ukrainians are scared of them meaning they will start looking for ways to remove them.

Now the country are actively preparing fighters for these units. offer you a training process spetsbatalona MIA of Ukraine "Kharkiv" and "Sloboda", formed in the Kharkiv region. speak about the quality of training militants themselves, proudly claim that they are trained for a month, which is the usual time police officer held for five years. end speaking of China
On June 1, 2014, China and Japan begin direct exchange of their currencies without prior conversion to U.S. dollars.
Earlier on the same agreed to Moscow and Beijing. Such actions will lead to the weakening of the dollar as a world currency. Exchange Japanese yen and the Chinese yuan will be back in the currency markets of Tokyo and Shanghai.
Previously this was done taking into account exchange rates against the dollar, but now goes directly exchange. This will avoid potential problems associated with fluctuations in the quotations of U.S. currency on the world market. The decision to phase out the dollar as an intermediary currency was taken during a visit to Beijing Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda. Previously reported that in commercial transactions between Russia and China is also no longer be used U.S. currency. Such an agreement signed VTB and Bank of China.
Instead dollar Russia and China in mutual payments will use the ruble and the yuan. Analysts point out that the desire to weaken the dollar is closely linked with the growing geopolitical ambitions of China.
"China sees the dominance of the dollar in international transactions vestiges of American global dominance, which they hope to overthrow the future" - said the expert on peace and security research Hemprshirskogo Michael Clare College.
