Russia's deputy PM 'threatens Romania with bomber'

Dmitry Rogozin, Russia's deputy prime minister, has posted a tweet saying his next flight over Romania will be in a TU-160 bomber aircraft after he was denied access to the country's airspace.

Mr Rogozin was flying home from the Russian-speaking region of Moldava on the border with Ukraine when he was turned away from Romania's airspace.

In response, Mr Rogozin posted a tweet in Russian which said, "next time I'll fly on board TU-160" - a supersonic Soviet-era strategic bomber.

Mr Rogozin is one of the senior Russian officials sanctioned by the EU and US after Moscow moved to annex Crimea.

Governor of Kherson, Yuri Odarchenko (All-Ukrainian Union 'Fatherland' party) is booed by indignant crowd at Victory Day celebrations yesterday after he made positive reference to Hitler in the context of freeing Ukraine from the 'tyrant Stalin'.

Today, celebrating Victory Day, we remember the turbulent events that occurred during the Great Patriotic War. We remember that people fought against aggressors who tried to take our land.

Those aggressors [Soviet troops] were motivated not just by the desire to take our land and enslave our people, but they also propagated slogans about the supposed liberation of nations of people who were living on the lands that Hitler was trying to seize. If you study history, we see that it was [Hitler] who was the first to propagate the slogans “liberating people from the Communist yoke” and “liberating people from the tyrant Stalin.”

This was Hitler’s first motivation, when he tried to take territory. But our people came together in our willingness to defend our native Ukraine, and presented a united front, showing [Hitler] that people can and will win back their territory. Today, the same thing is happening on Ukraine’s borders.

One has to wonder if this is evidence of the slow roll to WW3. Really making threats to yet another nation?

It will not happen tomorrow but I think it is going to happen in the next 2-3 years. I hope I am wrong.

Check this out. Interesting, a news report that just happens to show the suited business man from earlier posts.He even says something to the camera and flashes something .It shows alot of before and after and alot of different angles of that corner.Looks like Mariupol is turning into a slaughter.

I do not think so.

I wonder if it is not all a bit too convenient -- to capture three armed men like that.

Also, the supposed police who did so aren't uniformed nor equipped very professionally.

I did not even think of the possibility that the restrained men might be suffocated. But they do not move in the video!

I wonder if it is not some fabrication by a pro-Kiev militia or other group pushing an agenda.

Maybe finally there is something to legitimately blame on Right Sector.
