NATO will have an important role, but that again is based on the will of the leaders of it's members, as Ukraine is not a NATO member, some could say it does not fall under the North Atlantic Treaty.

Here something to add to the pot

Hacker New

'Russia Today', Moscow based Russia's biggest news channel website (RT.com) has been hacked and defaced by an unknown group of hackers. Hackers have replaced “Russia” or “Russians” with “Nazi” or “Nazis” word from the headlines, as shown.

24tv.ua...

so in the list you see mostly Buisnessman and oil/gaz critters

exemple:

Dnipropetrovsk region: Igor Kolomoysky - businessman with Ukrainian and Israeli citizenship, a member of the supervisory board of "Privat" oil plant "Naftokhimik Carpathians", and the oil company "Ukrnafta".

And Putin was stupid enough to make his move just as the weather in Europe is going to start getting warmer, making an embargo on Russian gas easier day by day!

Russia options are limited if they decide the invade Ukrainian without any unilateral agreements (which seems they already did) then simply it will be seen as an Act of Aggression by the international community. Act of War

Declaration of war upon another State.

Invasion by its armed forces, with or without a declaration of war, of the territory of another State.

Attack by its land, naval or air forces, with or without a declaration of war, on the territory, vessels or aircraft of another State.

Naval blockade of the coasts or ports of another State.

Provision of support to armed bands formed in its territory which have invaded the territory of another State, or refusal,
notwithstanding the request of the invaded State, to take, in its own territory, all the measures in its power to deprive those bands of all assistance or protection.

NATO invention is a risky one.

Think longer term and with a broader scope...there will be another Winter, and not all gas and coal are used for heating purposes...a large amount is used for electricity generation..electricity is needed all year round.

True, however the US is rapidly ramping up production of oil and NG. This could be an opportunity to help strengthen the US economy and US EU relations.

NSA Cybercommand is that uuu?

The Nazis are the ones who've taken over Kiev... not saying there aren't neonazis on Russia's side,, but in Ukraine Pravy Sektor and Svoboda are the biggest political threat. And now they've taken power, and control the army.

So now we have a new boogie man its like stepping years into the past. I must say the dares and nonchalant attitudes of Obama and Kerry are no help to the crisis. Were these protest orchestrated by someone? Someone whom dislikes so many countries whom happen to be enemies of the US. Folks keep your eye on the prize there is a motive to destabilizing so many countries and causing chaos.

I question whether this whole thing was planned some time ago and whether this is why it appeared Obama lacked any patriotism and class in supporting our athletes at the Olympics.

You bet your tail-feathers if that pipeline was the USA's interest we would be occupying that country as well under the guise of peacekeepers.

It seems more like something Anonymous would do.
