I find the wife's comment unusual... While the first part is the denial, the second part seemed like an attempt to make a distinction between possession and distribution.

Its entirely possible the law being used - possession / distribution - are one in the same in Colorado instead of 2 different charges. In order to distribute a person must have it in their possession / possibly a lesser included offense / modifier.

There is no info I can find on either the Loveland Colorado Police or the Larimer County District Attorney's office.

I would also wager that bringing up extraterrestrials during a prelim hearing on child porn is not going to go over all that well.

No doubt.If this stuff they claim to be happening to them is real we are in deep deep deep trouble as a country in the future.Possibly the DHS may turn out to be helping Stan in this case if it is just random hackers messing with Him.If that is the case His UFO story and government after Him makes Him look all the worse.
I hope His UFO and alien stuff is a hoax or this is going to be major major shocking abuse by the government of enormous consequences for the country.

I guarantee that his lawyer will be checking to see just how the DHS obtained the information linking Romanek and his computer to child porn. If that is the only link they have, then they are taking a gamble by charging him. If the evidence is thrown out for one reason or another then the government's case is in doubt. I am curious if its a single charge or if its numerous counts on just one charge.

If anyone from that neck of the woods runs across the local media reports talking about the PC please post a link.

I will be reading up on this from time to time.I saw UFOs in my past,and was always interested in paranormal like subject.By the way I was never abducted or anything like that,just saw an incredible UFO sighting is all once in the early 90's.

You have to wonder, despite what you may think about Stan's evidence and experiences, here's someone who has documented repeated home break-ins, gov't surveillance, wiretaps, and repeated hacks/intrusions of his computers going back to the early 2000's, yet he is stupid enough to keep child porn on those same computers? I know he was on the verge of releasing a professionally produced documentary. What a perfect way to frost that endeavor. I don't buy it. Clearly a setup by TPTB IMO.

You seem to have lost focus on the fact that this is Stan Romanek, a pathological liar, i.e. the alleged surveillance, wiretaps, hacks and intrusions are all BS too. Come on now!

It isn't likely at all that Stan would be into this kind of trash, not a chance. This story, if true is a total set up. Sure the guy seems nutty as hell, but that doesn't make a child pornographer.. This is what the deep feds do when they want to shut someone up. (regardless if anyone was even listening to him in the first place).

Assuming this guy is being set up, I don't believe he would be being set up because he knows anything, its actually pretty obvious to me at the least to see he is a kook. That being what it is kook or not he is a very public an well known within the ufology community. Being what it is, if he was being set up it isn't a personal thing but what it really does is makes the broader scope of ufo people look really bad, now it will be paranoid tin foil hat wearing kiddy porn supporting tv red bull junkies. It further drives the greater whole into that bigger pit of shaming. I personally don't buy he is or was being set up, he may have had some crimes committed against him but perhaps those were not committed by the big bad men in black and probably disturbed fans of his.

I just don't believe he had anything to do with child porn, plus his wife has been saying their computer was being tampered with just prior to this. It is a classic setup frame job if there ever was one.

The Pentagon actually had someone messing with Stan back when that little alien video came out, he has been closely monitored by the "UFO" type feds for a long time..(why they would bother is beyond me) .There was a letter from the Pentagon that was leaked somehow about Stan's first encounters, I'm trying to find it..(I don't know the validity of any of it, I just remember hearing about this a long time ago.) I do know that the feds have watched him for years, and it wasn't for porn type stuff.

Another example would be how dogs react when they see one dog being chased and beat up by a bunch of dogs. All the dogs that see this will attack the dog being beat up, and they don't care why. Just like this situation with Stan Romanek.

Nobody ever gets discredited from the paranormal/ufology field; it's demonstrably impossible to do so. No matter what anyone says or does, they will always get another run-around on the conference circuit. They'll always have a market for that last piece of merch.

Romanek is charged and remains innocent unless proven otherwise.

Guilty or not, his years of scamming haven't made a difference to some folk - they seem to want his stories to be true.

Greer, Jonathon Rutter/Reed, Jaimme Maussan, Linda Moulton-Howe, Bob Dean?? Every one 'discredited' at their own hands (in their own words too) and still welcomed on the circuit and on the radio shows.

You only have to bring a story once and you get a free pass for life in the paranormal world.

If your are correct man and Mr Romanek is telling the truth this is major major corruption and mafia like stuff and a major criminal government.

He didn't flip a pen. If you notice he coughed at the EXACT moment something flew over him. It was a mechanical device he operated with his right hand. And, in his mind, he thought he had to cough to hide the noise of him activating the device. Totally fake. He's supposedly been dealing with these things for years and look at his eyes as he looks around in both incidents --over reactions and bad acting. Someone who has dealt with things flying would be use to it happening and would laugh it up, but he plays for the camera.

He spends way too much time drawing attention to whatever hit him the 2nd time, whereas someone who was really used to it would laugh and say something like, "You see? They happen all the time, I don't know man." Or whatever.

Let's not forget, he keeps looking at the EXACT spot where the first incident appears from before it even happens. What he's doing here is checking to see if everything is OK to go, and that nothing is appearing on his web cam.

He's a hoaxer and oh yeah, a horrible actor.
