I really enjoy you sharing! I am still new as I started during
the holidays last year. I am way behind on PS due to things
beyond my control. This is my favorite thread for the same
reasons you mentioned "the people" show respect & help
each other. Too bad that doesn't happen more often outside
of here.

I too was buried in the other threads until I found this one.
Keep up the great work!

I've been working a lot over time too, which is why I decided to go job hunting, long story short:
Next year I will be working half the amount but for double the salary.

The company I worked for thought I was stupid, and would work for free.
The new one wants to hire me for my IT expertise and teaching expertise.

I've always been paid well in the past, except working for my current job. So now I will be hired for I.T. and teaching, and also in charge of the magazine and yearbook.

I've only got 6 months left working here, and I am counting the days.

I'm still looking for another job but there is very little call for my skill set around here, something will happen along.

I've let people know I'm on the market but so far it would require me moving to the north of England and Mrs C wouldn't like to leave her job, she loves it too much.

Hey ho at least I'm working, better than the alternative

But I have to say, ever since the Halloween avatar creation thread, I have become so driven to create things and not just because of creating things but also because of the good atmosphere in these threads!!

You people are some of the kindest and friendliest people I have come across in 6 years on ATS. There is so much respect among you guys that one feels so very much welcome regardless of what quality you bring to the thread.

I couldn't tell anymore if the world will be ending anytime soon because the only place I have been visiting on ATS are these kind of threads.

You guys rock!!!

The beauty of this thread is that there are no egos to bruise, we all enjoy playing with PS and enjoy helping the membership of ATS look so damn cool.

The guys on this thread are indeed awesome artists but better yet awesome friends. One of these days I'm going to phone BFFT just to hear his Texan drawl. I doubt I could ever actually surprise him, but a little "Bloody hell I don't believe it" moment might do him the world of good

Yes, moving is hard, especially if Mrs C. likes her current job. I understand.

The only reason I stayed at my current job for so many years was because I had a great team to work with, but unfortunately I have to think of finances, and choose a job that makes life easier for us in the long run.

I do still create avatars during the weekend. I'm enjoying painting with PS a lot lately.
Right now all my avatar ideas are winter/ holiday themed.

Oh well, P is encouraging me to write another book.
I told him I might this summer if I have time.

It's just so hard finding a good editor to work with.

You are not alone.

I have my moments too, especially in the morning when I'm still sleepy.

This morning I was looking for my keys before going to work, when my husband pointed out to me that they were in my hand.
I'm not a morning person.

I got all caught up in one of those when I was with my ex girlfriend, we were racing each other to the end, she beat me to launching a rocket into space and won the game........................bloody students with time to spare

For fun, its not perfect at all...but this is what I'm working on to give you an idea... I thought this would be fun.. I'm taking a picture, keeping it to look like a picture and taking a thing out of it, and making it look very 3D.

This one in particular, I'm working with it large to get everything right... (and saving it here I do see some mistakes!) but I'm going to make this picture into a waterfall animation, to where the water is falling onto the picture like so...

It should be pretty cool when I'm done I think!



Add something like this maybe for the water
