If you ever just want a simple animated avatar I made this:



With a simple background to go with it.



It's not the best in the world... but it might work for you.

im looking for 2 new avatars one with a thanks giving or fall theme and a christmas/winter theme i like marvin the martin so if u could incorporate that into it would be awesome the halloween one u guys did for me was wonderful so im back for more

I use history a lot... but history will only go back so far... so keep in mind when your pushing history... and start up a new layer!

OR make as many layers as you want! But I utilize history more than most!

I'm a layers type of guy, the more the merrier LOL.
As long as I remember to name them !!! I've been
in a rush before now and not bothered to
Nightmare scenario if a small change is asked for.
Solution.....Add another layer !!

You would be lost in any of my open Photoshop pieces then! HA! Not only do I make as few layers as possible, I don't bother to name them! I have background 1, background copy, background copy 2... hahahaha if I have a lot of layers I have a LOT of background copies!

I know everyone makes a layer for each effect they do... but I just do the effects, and if I cannot go back and fix it, I just start over...

The one thing I do actually do, is save all the images I have dropped background from, and I save them on my computer or on a flash drive. I will have one finger, or a thumb etc, its not all large things... my husband's latest avatar, was like 10 or more different things..saving them all saves time when I start from scratch again... but often, I start from scratch again because I got mad at it...

I am currently trying to get over being angry with water! I threw everything out yesterday because I was so mad at the water! Someday I will figure out the importance of layers, but probably not before I am done getting angry with my work!

So I switched back to my Archer avatar and I forgot how much I loved it.

Anybody interested in making me more of these? They don't have to be archer, they can be any character in the series really.

I pay in applause lol

I thought I'd do something funny. And there are so many reindeer .pngs to choose from.
I had to paint the snow though, but it was worth it.

Well... i couldn't figure out managing the perfect water animation... so i gave it up... but i think this ended half-way decent... and I'm going to chalk this one up as a reasonable success - with more practice i will get better...



something like that would make a good ad... "Miller photography, can't tell the photo from the real thing..." lol... corny



now off to try something else! maybe archer needs a Christmas party!
