Weird he would mention that.
Was he trying to infer Adam had knowledge of security systems at the schools?

Even stranger is that no friends his own age spoke up about Adam or would go on camera.
Yet an adult seemed to spend endless amounts of time with him.

I'd love to know how or if St. Rose of Lima fit in to all this.

we got grainy security footage in what 1999 for columbine? that showed 2 shooters with weapons in the school but for some reason in 2012/2013 in the mighty age of SURVEILANCE EVERYWHERE. RECORDING EVERYTHING. CAMERAS HERE... CAMERAS THERE,but we have nothing? lol

Am pretty sure the parking lot camera was installed after the event to deter people from tampering with the scene. Additionally, the 'official report' clearly states there was no recording apparatus for the video surveillance system.

Unfortunately, we can't expect to see any video (even heavily edited) of what that punk was up to.

I think GPS is like a phone. Just being on sends your signal. And with the new store all your information for 5 years means they can look back in history to see where you were at any time. Mass storage of all data for 5 years is a bigger deal then anyone realizes.

I had posted this earlier in the thread but I'm posting it again as it clears up the questions folks have about the school surveillance / entrance cameras:

Sadly there was one flaw in that new, high-tech video entry system that Sandy Hook was lauded for installing and, which according to the Washington Times, included school doors being locked and secure at 9:30 a.m. with a video camera and buzzer system that can allow entry after that time from THREE monitoring locations but that flaw in the video security system that so much money was spent on in early 2012: it [allegedly] had no recording capabilities.

Why would an elementary school in a wealthy community that at the start of the 2012-13 school year had overhauled their security plan and installed this video access security system choose to NOT record the comings and goings of the entrance? Seems like it would be a logical thing to do considering that like 1/4 of all Law & Order SVU episodes involve a kid being snatched from their elementary school and SVU often reviewing the schools surveillance for leads. Things that make you go hmmm.....

Now let me throw an abnormality into the mix:

From the Wooster Mountain Shooting Range Facebook Page one learns that their website/contact is directed to a Westport, CT-based website called www.train2shoot.com...

Since we seem to agree that the GPS data indicates that Lanza was going to the Wooster Mountain Shooting Range and we have noted that:
Sunday- May 27th,. 2012
Starting-7:37pm Yogananda (Newtown)
Ending - 7:56 pm Wooster Mt. State Park (Danbury)
Starting- 8:05 pm Wooster Mt. State Park (Danbury)
Ending-8:30pm Yi)gananda (Newtown)

My question is simple: What was Lanza doing going to the Shooting Range after hours?
The latest the Wooster Mountain Shooting Range is open at any time during the year is 7pm (and it appears that Sunday hours are 12-3).

Thoughts?

I'm not exactly sure what it is but yes there is a small solar panel (appox the size of a textbook) involved with whatever it is.

I think it MIGHT be some sort of weather watcher station (get the data on weather, rain, wind, etc)

BTW JBA2848 I must say that I was VERY impressed with how quickly you figured out that it must be a midnight movie he was going to; that was absolutely brilliant. Good work!

From the calendar on the train2shoot site the hours seem pretty standard; I went through the summer months to check for potentially later hours and found nothing open around the time Lanza was there.

However, it should also be noted that most CT State Parks close at sunset (according to The Old Farmers Almanac sunset was at 8:20pm on 31 May 2012).

From the Wooster Mountain Park listing on the State of CT Parks Website there is a link for the shooting range which, when clicked, results in this message "The requested article is no longer published." Seems odd...

He was lying and they knew it. But he never did anything illegal. As long as he never lied to investigators. That would fall under the privacy of others who do not wish to speak to the press about clients and so on.

So grain of salt when it comes to him. But why not list it in police reports name redacted location redacted? They posted the GPS and hid the rest. Police made it seem like they were lost and did not know where he went when they had a GPS location and that is the only place there?

To me it is pretty simple: When the messaging from the government and the media is to victimize not only the actual victims but make the larger population feel like a victim; feel like they were a victim of a shooting or bombing hundreds or thousands of miles away then you use the KISS method (keep it simple stupid) and in the 2 minute news story which pulls the most "shocking" info and makes it the story then the mouthbreather hundreds or thousands of miles away will think "good job by the police... his mother was an irresponsible nutjob... nothing to worry about, evil is dead now" and they move on with their lives. The mouthbreathers do not read or analyze reports like this or have the perspective to understand such events compared to other such events historically. The mouthbreathing masses, the same people who don't understand that you can get as good or better prices on days not called Black Friday, just don't get it or have grown accustom to believing propaganda as truth.

Think about it: Over a million civilians have been killed in the US invasion of Iraq & Afghanistan and no one cares; The current and immediate past US President (both war criminals) use robot drones to murder "evil doers" and in the process kill countless civilians and no one cares; As many people killed at Sandy Hook are senselessly murdered in Chicago every couple weeks and no one hears about it or cares; Detroit, a city that revitalized America, is a wasteland and instead of helping rebuilt that great American city the US government ignores it, gives it no money but gives billions of dollars a year to Egypt and Israel and no one cares. But when a horrific incident is sensationalized (Casey Anthony, Sandy Hook, Zimmerman, Boston) it becomes the most important story on the news and real problems and issues continue to be disregarded.

Yes... I guess... They have a weather station, it appears (or had a weather station since the school doesn't exist anymore). They had a camera system, as I noted above, but wouldn't you know that camera system which they installed in early 2012 did not have the capability to record camera footage.

You're talking about the same school system that will drop millions on a sports stadium in the high school levels....while kids in classrooms are using outdated textbooks and computers we wouldn't buy a distant relative we really didn't like very much.

I could easily see them sucking up Science grant money or some other little benefit along the way to pay for a weather station, yet unable to get the $50 it would have cost to mount a weather resistant web cam with the USB cabling to run it inside.

Of course, they'd never be allowed to just buy a web cam and hook it up, which is the problem. They'd be required to bid the job, evaluate and do due diligence for the perspective contractor hired to mount a $1,000 camera that will never work very well anyway, instead of the $30 Web cam w/ cable that would probably read a book in a students hand from 25 yards away.

I have learned never to question the bottom of how low idiocy within Government efforts can sink. Public Schools are one of the largest Gov't boondoggles in our nation.

Good find. I tried matching it to something but could never figure out what it was. I just knew that small black thing on the top pointed directly at the front entrance so figured it was a camera. It looks just like the weather station device you linked. So I have no idea where cameras were in the school that was the only thing I could find.

Just think if it was Joe Bidens home town Wilmington, Delaware. They had cameras that covered everything in the city even before 9/11. The first US city to have Complete Information Awareness at least at the standard of that time.Almost half a million paid by anonymous donor. This is the same town building google barges. There is a history of companies like By and Large LLC front companies doing things there.
